Based on this suggestion, your idea is certainly possible.

That said, even if above is true, it does not mean that all abductions are with good intention.

ANNUNAKI: They do not abduct humans.  They will ask before taking a Human and the Human has a choice.  They treat Humans with respect unless there is a condition where we do not.

LARGE GREYS: Involved with abductions and enhancing humans. When Humans are collected they are asleep and cannot understand what we tell them.  We tell them enough to cooperate. 

SMALL GREYS: Carry out most of the abductions(enhancing and hybrid creation). They have technology to counter Earth's gravity.  Can dissolve matter to pass through matter and the ability to interact with the human mind.  Abduction selection Criteria: physical, mental, and emotional. Grays are able to synthesize DNA but there is a limit to the amount of times that DNA can be replicated.  It is the same with Human DNA; it can only be replicated so many times before it is unusuable.  So the Grays have to continually collect Humans and collect their DNA.  The production of sperm and egg are more difficult to synthesize and these must be collected frequently from Humans.

NORDICS: Take advantage of collection for their own purposes. Interested in physical aspects including intellect and personality. It is important, doesn't not benefit or harm humans. Humans will one day join Confederation, need to be aware of how they think, feel, react.  Humans benefit from also being abducted. May also help calm if abductee is scared.

INDIGO HYBRIDS: Hybrids assist when needed. 

ORBS: Orbs cannot carry people or animals but they can assist and observe when people are being lifted, for example by the Grays.  They are often observed by Humans to be around when this type of levitation takes place. 

ELEMENTALS: Sometimes Humans have made a request to see other races, particularly if they, the Humans, have not been involved in the collection process.  Sometimes the Elementals assist the Grays in manifesting the other races in the vicinity of the Humans or the Humans may be collected out of curiosity to see why they are asking. Usually just done once or twice. 

ORANGES: Sometimes collect Humans if they come underground.

DARK ONES: Do not work with Grays. It is wise for Humans to stay away, not that they physically harm Humans, but their presence would prevent  them from interacting with other races.  If humans welcomed the negative ones in, they would never get to experience some of the more interesting races.

HOODED REPTILIANS: Make craft move to pick up Humans.  Abductions cannot be prevented.

LIGHT BEINGS: We soothe when Humans are frightened. We accompany where there are two (Human w/ Hybrid fetus).

You may be interested in former Canadian Defence Minister during 1963-67, Paul Hellyer, who have been extremely candid on this topic (and more).

Somewhere in Lindaland I did write
about my experience, any way...

I had moved to Canada with my two
daughter's, 2005 or 2006..we were
in Massawippi, Quebec. Renting a
house that was part of a farm..there
was a born to my left and 80 cows..
I was woken by the brightest white
light I had ever seen..this light was
everywhere..I was running from window
to window, all around the house,
trying to figure out where this light
was coming from..one of my daughter's
started yelling for me..I got to her
room, tried to calm her..looked out
the window, again..but this time I
looked up..my daughter came over to
me..above our house was a spaceship
and that bright light was coming from
it..and then, in a blink of an eye,
it was gone..it shot straight up..
..and the things that had been on..
came back on...my other daughter
slept through this...
We have all extracted metal-like
teeny-tiny triangle objects from
under the nail of our big toe..put
them in a container to go back, and
have them gone..I even felt around
inside of the container to see if
perhaps it had become invisible..
From that first experience I could
no longer deny the existence of
aliens...
We've had the white light ball orbs,
checking in on us..more objects
extracted from different places, and
all have disappeared, once in Vermont
we saw them, but our fear got in the
way of communication...

I must say, that lately this has
been on my Mind a lot.

..at this point, no one (knocking on wood)
in my family has come down with the
virus...my mom and dad's side..here
