Oh, in Diane Stein's book she talks about animals on the 'other side'. She is very metaphysical as well as practical...she has written several Wiccan books. I really think you would like the book just for the reading.

Funny thing, since I re-read about the acupressure on cats, I started using poor Tiger as a guinnea pig. I did several points for various things to see what the reactions were. At first she thought I had gone 'loony tunes', but then she settled down in my lap and purred so loud it sounded like a buzz saw. Now she is running around like the 'queen' of the hill. She even growled at her arch enemy, Smokey.

Smokey was totally shocked and backed away to sit and stare at her. She is trying to figure out what happened. I'm not sure what points I 'hit', but need to do them more. I was just feeling around for the points.

You know you have found one when you feel a pulse beat under the fur.

Tiger had started to refuse to eat (some type of cancer) and finally had to be put to sleep. How she felt so guilty until on one Hallow's Eve ritual Tiger came into the cirlce to tell her how much she loved her for what she had to do.

Diane said that she eventually learned that her Tiger became a spiritual helper for her, and did not reincarnate.

Then she talkes about another dog, Dusty who became ill from cancer. She 'linked' with Dusty (tells you how in the book), and asked Dusty if she was ready to 'go'. She kept getting images of a young Dusty running and playing in fields. So this time she wasn't afraid or guilty when she had her put down.

Then two years later, a friend of hers adopted a dog for Diane...and it was Dusty returned. She named her Kali.

She said she has had several animals show up at her home who were dying and wanted to die with her. And one dog she knew wasn't dying, and would get better with treatment. She treated it, but the owner came and had the dog put to sleep anyway. She said the dog came to her in a dream and told her thank you for trying, and don't worry.

There is a lot like this in that chapter.

You are going to LOVE this book.

Yivy ~ *what is the name of that book*??????

*Guess what?* I saw a book on Amazon last night, called "The Soul of Your Pet : Evidence for the Survival of Animals in the Afterlife". Amazon said it takes 5-6 weeks to get. So I wrote to the author, and he replied right away. He is mailing me the book today! I can't wait! It is about ghost stories of animals/pets. Real stories.

I'm not so much looking for books on grief support, but I'm looking for books about information about Pets/Animals in the Spirit World. I don't think this one talks so much about animals in the Spirit World, it gives evidence of stories of ghosts/spirits of animals who visit their owners here. But it sounds really good, so I wanted to try it.

I believe that all animals have Souls ~ and the animals/pets we have in this life, are the same Souls of pets we've had in past life. I believe they can reincarnate right away, by choice, if they want to.

Isn't this such a great subject?!

But I'm glad you saw the book. You should have 'peeked' at the chapter on Reincarnation and Death. It would have made you cry seeing how she struggled with such issues when she first started.

It's heartbreaking, I've been through a similar situation with my doggie Troubles.

Please rest assured that Tigre is going to be having lots of fun, I've sent a message to my cat Morris that he meets up with Tigre and introduces himself Hope Tigre doesn't mind basking in the sun for hours and chasing floating seed-pods in the wind, since that's one of Morris' favorite things to do

I've had dreams that confirm the pets we love and adore truly live on, and I'm sure you will be getting a dream from Tigre soon.

Yes, I feel so good, that she actually visited me (where I am aware). I mean, she *could* be here now, but if so, I'm not aware unless I have a sound, clue, or *feeling*.
