I just wanted to know, does the plumpie diet work even if you are already thin. I am 5ft 8 and weigh 116 lb but I would still like to lose more weight. Does the red diet work up to a certain extent and stop there or can you keep losing weight until whatever? Also I can't seem to find a 100 watt bulb. Would 75 work? Any input on this would be great guys!! IP: Logged |

Linda said the diet would give you the perfect figure for you, rather than the perfect weight. So you may not lose any more weight, but it might get redistributed. Why do you want to lose weight if you are already skinny?? IP: Logged |

You poor thing! Dancers and jockeys have my full sympathy. The diet and ballet people may not have the same idea what a perfect body is. Linda said the rainbow diet was told to her by Nahtan, who she described as rather plump, so I think that's a warning not to get your hopes up too high ... IP: Logged |

Moondancer~ I've been rackin' my brain trying to visualize 5'8" @ 116 lb. look anything BUT skinny - but I can't ! And if it's bone or muscle mass that makes you *not that skinny* then what left is there to loose?

Moondancer - I've had very close friends who were seriously into dancing, so I know from them how weight conscious that profession is. It's terrible the amount of stress that can be caused over a few pounds when you're a dancer. My friend since I was five developed an eating disorder to try and remain thin enough for the dance school not to give her a problem. I'm less than two inches taller than you are, and eleven pounds heavier...and I'm a rail! Please think about your health, first and foremost if you feel you need to lose more weight. Being a dancer requires a fit body, but most importantly a healthy body. IP: Logged |

All athletic people should replenish the trace minerals lost in sweat. Otherwise, it could be healthier to be a couch potato who gets proper nutrition than an athlete who doesn't. ------------------ "It is never too late to become what you might have been." George Eliot IP: Logged |

Its nice to know so many people are concerned about my health. I feel as if I have spirit guides all around. Thanks a lot guys. Randall, let me assure you that I definitly wouldn't want to be an unhealthy dancer otherwise I woudn't be able to dance!! So I'll just lose the reasonable amount of weight that would allow me to feel comfortable and I promise I won't go overboard with the dieting. Maybe everyone can send me some white light and angels for protection from anorexia! IP: Logged |
