Hi, I have just been enlightened about a younger friend of the family's current health situation and am at a loss as to how to help him. He has had some minor health concerns over the years, but lately, within the past couple of years, his fears have mounted. He is scheduling doctor's visits left and right. Though much of it has to do with residual feelings about a sick parent, I wondered if there were any astrological implications. His birthdate is 12/31/79 5:20 AM, Washington, DC.Thank you very much!

The answer can be found in a much less esoteric place than astrology (that great clock can predict everything, but solve nothing). His mind is in a disarray, he is giving into feelings of fear and fear-based beliefs about health. Share your beliefs with him, help him to shake off the stranglehold of fear. Ask him to face his fear of death and disease, would they be so bad? He probably has all kinds of distended, bloated ideas of how important it is for him to continue living, burying deeper fears about losing loved ones, not being loved, not being able to love himself, etc. Sooner or later, he is going to give himself a real disease, and then it will justify him on such a grand level he will make it strong enough to kill him. In other words, he will die of old age or some legitimate life-exit such as cancer. Get him some books. Hypochondriacs are intelligent and soak up data to the extent of hurting themselves with the fear-based info that is published these days. Give him some good data to soak up.IP: Logged |

I agree with Mercury...And I knew someone very close to me who suffered (suffers?) the same condition. Some of it comes from guilt (seeing others sick and wondering why it isn't you), some sort of self-hatred, perhaps or self-punishment. And I agree that it can lead to a self-fulfilling prophecy. It's tough, and I wish I could help you figure it out. I used to have a friend with that birth date. He didn't suffer from being a hypochondriac, but he did seem to have a bad sort of "luck". And he was depressed too. I;ve heard that Capricorns are susceptible to depression. Lots of light to your friend! ------------------ "What lies behind us and lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us." -Ralph Waldo Emerson IP: Logged | |
