ahhhhhh

I don't want to call it a diet because it's not that I'm DIETING. I just changed a lot of things in my diet. I tend to eat when I am:

bored
stressed
depressed
bored
happy
watching TV
bored

I've been trying to cut back on that But... the past couple weeks I've filled the apartment with GOOD snacks. So when I do feel the need to snack there's something better for me to eat. I cut out red meat entirely a couple months ago and now I'm cutting down on chicken. I'll have only 3 or 4 ounces of chicken with dinner instead of a whole breast.

I have 4 different kinds of trail mixes to snack on and wonderful organic cereals for breakfast....

I feel so good!

Good for you Wych ...
All the above apply to me now & I envy your fortitude!!! Since I quit smoking (Nov.), I`ve had the worst diet & am really paying for it. Time to get a grip before I explode

If you backslide occasionally, I'm sure it'll be okay.

Yea no one eats PERFECT and that is not even the goal. To do mostly good and enjoy yourself once in a while is fine A fun things is coming up with yummy tasty healthy snacks. Look I could spend all day in Whole Foods Market and probably blow my whole pay check if I wasn't careful

it's funny.. I 'slipped' today.. and ate 6 cookies for a snack and I felt HORRIBLE for about 2 hours. That's a really good incentive to keep eating those oranges

Yep that's the hard thing, keeping up the good work! But so far Wych...good for YOU!

Juniperb...I quit smoking too back in aug. 02'. I have gained about 6 to 8 kilo's (my appetite is much bigger yam, yam) but....I quit and I am só happy about that!
Congratz to you too because I know how hard it can be!
I started playing squash and really it is all about changing one's lifestyle all together but enjoying it is much more important! When you don't, in my believe this is bad for you too! I don't eat any meat for 17 years now and I have never missed it one bit (never liked it in the first place) and I run good by it (is that something you can say? )

Enjoying is só important!

Anyway's Wych...keep it up, you deserve it! All my love to everyone!

Mercy thanks so much for the encouragement. Some times I do get discouraged. Is the 8 kilos comparable to my 16 pounds

My significant other says just more of me to love ....

Exercise is something I always do (I live on a mini farm) plus work & have huge gardens, so I`ll get it wittled down as soon as weather permits. Come on spring!!!

A minifarm? Sounds awesome!
Yeah I think the 8 kilo's are close to 16 pounds though I would stick to 8 kilo's because it sounds less drastic .
More of yourself...yeah right. But you know... it is só much in a short time and that's the not so nice side about it. Well, I know for sure it will turn out alright soon(ish)! Keep on going'love!
