Well, Buddy is holding his own. He still has bleeding every once in a while....but not like it was. Now it is just dropletts and in the last two weeks I have seen that happen on two separate occasions. He is up to his old tricks....what a sweetheart he is.

Thank you everyone for all your prayers and love....Buddy is very grateful too.

Oh, in the healing process, I have started feeding him natural yogurt to help settle his tummy and now he barks for it!!! He is a Hoot!

Buddy and I thank each and everyone of you for all your love, prayers and kind thoughts. Buddy is back to his normal self. I bought him this soft new bedding to sleep on and he was excited for about 10 mins, then the proceeded to tear it up! He is definitely back!!!!!

Buddy couldn't have healed without your love (All of you) and without the Goddess' loving touch.

we had a small bout of relapse a couple of nights ago....no bleeding, just could tell he was feeling ucky. I had to feed him with my fingers and love him lots. The next day he was feeling lots better. Now, he is sweet Buddy again.

to all!!!

Thanks everyone!!!

Buddy has a "baby"....it's a stuffed teddy bear that has been his companion thru out his illness...and tonite he was barking at it!! He gathered his favorite ball, his food bowl, his rug and put everything in a neat little pile. He kept barking at the baby, then grabbed it, shook it and carried it to the pile. I guess he was trying to tell the baby to move, but the baby was not cooperating!!! He is such a funny guy!!

what did Buddy name the baby?

Isn`t is such a relief to see them return to normal? Somehow the sun is brighter, the shoulders lighter and the lump in your throat is as big as a softball. to you both.

I think the baby's name is BABY....cause when I say, "Get your baby"...Buddy knows what I'm talking about. They are so loving and so smart.

That we could love one another, as humans, as much as our 4 legged creatures love us, then the world would be magikal!!!

I am going to send you pics of Buddy's face. I just tricked him into posing for me!!!

Juniperb and Randall.....Buddy pic headed your way. I had to remove the screen from my bedroom window to take this pic!!!! His curiosity got the better of him and he had to stick his head in the window and I snapped the picture!!!

I wanna see!

Oh, LTD- so happy Buddy is doing well! He sounds so amazing, I wish I could meet him! I just love it when pets have their own stuffed pets that they think are real! So cute!!! My cats do and they wrestle with it... especially if I give it love, they get so mad!

Yay for Budddy! And more wishes of light and love to keep him healthy!

Thanks Pearly and Randall and Juniperb! Buddy has a really shy personality and his picture shows it.

When he sees another dog, he immediately gets behind me and starts growling! If I am not there, then the fence has to be in the way, otherwise he makes himself really really small!!

i sympathize with you la tee da, i had a dog with colitis before it wasn/t real bad all the time he would just have bouts of diarrhea i would give him pepto bismal like a tablespoon to calm his stomach you have to watch that though because it does contain aspirin i would just give it once in a while.
also i use to give him light yogurt the vanilla to help with good bacteria in his stomach he loved it i also use to give him boiled white rice and boiled chicken meat with cut up raw carrots. its easy on his stomach and he loved it i would mix it with this food he was on special diet canine food from the vet he was a big german shepherd. i lost his mad a year july 13 from cancer of the spleen. truly the worst time of my life. i am still morning for him or should i say me, from missing him. maybe you could run some of this by your vet see what he says.

goldielox512, that`s good info. I`ve always felt that yogurt has a healing effect on our four leggeds.

I`m sorry for your loss. It is so difficult to lose a loved one. Always take heart in the k-nowing how happy you made each other .
