well I picked up a summer cold a few days ago, and tonight I seem to be developing an icky conjunctivitis in my left eye -- I've never had anything like this, yuck! And it would happen on a Friday night -- off to the clinic I go tomorrow morning, sigh.

If anybody would be able to send me a little Light to speed this healing, I would very much appreciate it.

(wouldn't you know it, I of all people happen to have an "eye thing" -- just grosses me out altogether)

Feeling those healing waves -- so appreciated. In fact I still feel energized after a big day.

Well here's an interesting twist -- today I was scheduled for a Reiki Level I workshop -- and woke up with _both_ eyes affected. So I saw a doctor who prescribed some antibiotics (my glands are also swollen) and an ointment. Then I went to the centre early to see the teacher, explain my condition, and get a refund as my condition looks so icky that I thought it would make others uncomfortable. We meet, go to a side room to talk, where I take off my sunglasses (you should see these eyes, looks like I've been sleep-deprived for a full week! Don't need makeup for a zombie job right now! If you couldn't tell I'm an Aries before, my red eyes sure give it away now!!). She just smiles and says she'd been wondering if anyone who'd registered for the class was going to be so sensitive that the Reiki self-healing would begin before the class even began. And that she'd seen my kind of condition before in regards to Reiki healing, and that it probably meant I had clairvoyant ability and that my gift was being cleansed and attuned.

Well. That put a different spin on things. And I stayed, and many hours later passed Level I of Reiki! My hands still feel warm. Isn't that something!

morgana -- funny you point out my "eye thing" comment -- when I said 'I of all people happen to have an "eye thing"' I wasn't trying to make a pun, but I sure missed a good opportunity! No, but it is true that about the only bodily thing in this world that grosses me out is when something happens to an eye. I think it has to do with some horrible movie I saw as a kid where there was torture or something. I even contemplated becoming a paramedic when I was younger -- I can see blood, broken bones, skin conditions, etc etc etc and be able to deal with it, but make it an "eye thing" and I'm reduced to a puddle.

So, all that to say, isn't it eye-ronic that I get this condition...
