Hi there! I just joined this site and finally got the red buld (yay 1 800 top bulbs!). Now I am having trouble finding a suitable lamp and glasses...any suggestions?

Jaymini,

You can go to Walmart and buy a cheap metal lamp and paint it red. And the red glasses can be found in the Boston Store, Dillards, any overly priced shops at the mall. The ruby red glasses were a bit expensive tho... For me anyways.

Drea where did you get the ruby red glasses? Cause I was about to go to Ruby Tueday's and ask them who their supplier was. I didn't know that the lamp had to be red.

Silverbells,

If im not mistaken you have to either buy a red lamp or paint a metal one red. If Im not right, i feel really stoopid for painting mine red. I put alot of love into it.

I looked at all the big stores at the malls. I got mine at the Boston store. This was about a year ago im not even sure they have them any longer. Look on ebay, all over the net, and good luck!!!

For anyone in the eastern US, some of the dollar stores carried lovely red pitches (hold a whole lotta water!) in beautiful ruby red, very suitable for the color program.

Let us know how you do on the color diet!
