Okay I'm very embarassed to be saying this, but I need to let someone tell me what it's about.

Anyway, the thing is, my teeny tiny nipples on my teeny tiny boobs have been bothering me lately and I don't know why.

It's not inward it's outward, my nipples have been dry and cracked, and they've been very scratchy. They've also been discharging a yellowish liquid.

I think it's the material of my bra since I did buy new bras, but then again I used cotton, and it was the same way but never as much. This was a rarity before, but it's been happening a lot lately.

My nipples don't want to be touched by any kind of cloth, and because of the liquid, it get's stuck to it. At one point it go so dry it started to bleed a little.

I know it's kind of personal but I was hoping for some advice. My mom doesn't like these issues and she wants me to have a doctor look at it. I also want to know the psycological reason for this.

P.S. I'm a very small girl, some people think I'm 12 years old. Maybe it's the material being too tight, I don't know!

Wish I had some answers -- but ouch! I send you and your rosebuds some Light!

I haven't been in our dream forum lately -- have you had any disturbing dreams lately? On a very general level skin irritations and itchiness indicate a toxin in the body/mind that exits via the skin. But I would consider it very worthwhile to see a dermatologist, as this sounds like an infection.

Wish I could be more helpful!

I would seriously recommend you get checked by your doctor. It could be the change of material of your bra, but it does sound like there is some sort of infection going on. You don't want things getting worse.

Are you using a new soap or washing detergent/powder?

Love and Peace,

I'm going to have it checked. I'm thinking the material rubs them the wrong way, and they're just sensitive, but they've never acted this way before. It doesn't hurt it's just very dry, cracked, and it gives out a discharge. I'm not sure what this is psychologically about. Is it some nurturing issue? I have very small breasts, could it be some kind of insecurity? I don't know right now.

Hi Starlover

It sounds like either an infection or hormonal changes.

I wish you well and hope you see your doctor soon.

Heya Mate
There is no such thing as an embarassing question - it needed to be asked and i'm glad you did

I agree with what has been said - go see your naturopath/doctor. It sounds like its linked to your hormones - i went through similar stuff

The thing i will add though is that your breasts (however small/big or odd shaped) are part of your lymphatic system. It has been proven (But is not widley known), that bras inhibit the flow of lymph through your system, and in turn are directly linked to breast cancer in women. I don't wear a bra (Yes - i have small boobs so i am lucky) - and i would urge you to consider giving them a miss till you are older/bigger

Take care - and get well soon

I had the same problem before, and it was caused by a medication I was taking. As soon as I went off the anti-biotics, the problem stopped. I hope this helps! healing light is headed you way!

Hi Star Lover,

I think Nobel is right, on the physical level most of the time the breast is either linked to hormonal problems or lymphatic problems, which can be easily fixed. On the psychological level this is what my healer advised me (who is Excellent, he is an energy healer); any time that a woman has problems with her breast it has to do with how she feels in regards to herself and in regards to pleasing other people which means how she manages her power. Also the best way to keep your breast or any important organ of your body happy and health to is to bounce on a trampoline… I hope you feel better….

Hi Starlover, most discharge isn’t malignant or related to cancer (esp if its coming from both breast). Best bet is to see the doc/naturopath. Not sure about any psychological links.

Some medical anthropologists suggested a link between breast cancer and bras. They surveyed women, but their study didn’t control for or identify preexisting breast cancer risks among the women surveyed. (for example: Western Diet -> larger breasts which require more bra support -> dense breast collect more carcinogens + more difficult to detect initial stages of cancer). This link wasn’t exactly proven, but requires well planned out and lengthier studies. The study didnt even make it into scientific literature.

Plus lack of blood/lymph doesn’t cause cancer. It’s the errors in DNA coding that accumulate via DNA replication that causes that.

Best compromise if ure not into goin bra-less is to not wear tight bras and not wear them to sleep so blood/lymph flow isn’t constricted.

I had this happen when I was younger and it was because I was aggressively washing with harsh soaps. Once I stopped using soap on that area they healed. Nipples get very dry easily, there is no need to use soap on them.

A dermatologist, or naturopath would be good I agree.

You might want to try Lasinoh (sp?) It's sold in the baby products section. It's a lanolin that nursing moms use on their sore nipples. It's safe and may give you some relief. I know Walgreens and walmart sell. Not sure the cost though.

Hi guys,

I finally went to my doctor. This problem has been going on for more then a month now, and I finally got to to talk to him today. He told me that it wasn't anything serious and that that my nipples were being irrated by the material and the detergent I was using. He suggested that I use super-sensitive detergent and wash any bra after I buy it. He also had to check if I was leaking milk but there was no sign of that. All in all it was an allergic reaction that became a form of excema. The only time I had excema was when I was a baby girl. So after that, he prescribed me a cream that I will be putting on for the next couple of weeks.
