I don't know what's been going on, so I just thought I would post this and see if anyone knows or has some answers. Sometimes at night, just before I fall asleep, something strange happens to me that I can't quite explain, but I'll try my best. Usually I use this time to reflect/meditate on my day or even tap into my Higher Self. It's at this point when everything around me begins to spin and speed up. My breathing, thoughts, movements, noises, everything around me seems to be going at super speed. It's the oddest feeling! I never remember it dying down, I guess I just fall asleep afterwards. It never makes me dizzy or anything, but I can't explain what's going on. Does anyone have any suggestions? It would be much appreciated.Peace & Love ------------------ Love is Life. Hi tiger66. This almost sounds like a panic attack? When you take the time to reflect, are you letting your guard down and perhaps overcome by anxiety?I have a similar problem, but it's a direct result of some bad actions I took a few months ago. So I don't think we are having the same problem. How long has this been going on? Is anything eating at you that you haven't told anyone? Does it hinder your sleep? Hugs to you. d ------------------ Namaste! IP: Logged |

I really don't think its a panic attack, just because I really don't seem to be thinking of anything negative when this happens. I do think a lot of my life and reflection, but never in a significantly negative way. Nothing really bad has happened to me in the past while that would allow such an attack. It doesn't happen all the time, so I'm still confused. Thanks a lot for your concern, I'm still wondering if anyone has had this before.Hugs and love to you, Hope you're feeling better about yourself now. IP: Logged |

Hi tiger66 You don't necessarily have to be thinking about something negative for a panic attack to come on a panic attack could come on if you have tapped into an issue that you do not realize makes you extremely anxious but if you are not a nervous person then it probably isn't a panic attack. I have been in a situation that reminds me of what you are talking about. Do you get the feeling that the speed at which everything is moving has something, immediately to do with time.I say immediately because I think that time and movement may be intricately connected I just don't know how. But some may call that an abstract connection so I am just trying to be clear. ------------------ Get some Love in your groove, just get hip to Forgive...- Michael Franks IP: Logged |

Hey silver,Thanks for your concern, you could be right about it being some kind of panic attack, but I am not a negative person, so I still think it's something more. I'm still not sure how it is related to time, just that everything speeds up so fast. It doesn't scare me or anything, I just want to know WHY and HOW! Do you have any suggestions as to encourage this discovery or to cure it? I would appreciate any suggestions! Thanks! IP: Logged |

hmmm tiger66 what you describe sounds to me exactly like a panic attack, which one does not have to be negative at all to experience. It's simply a feeling of loss of ground, it's scary and confusing. It doesn't come from dwelling on negative things. But you know yourself best and if you really doubt it is that, you are most likely right.Thank you for your kind words to me ------------------ Namaste! IP: Logged |

dear tiger, i myself have had strange feelings as i am drifting off to sleep, like nothing i feel during the day, as i have occassionally woken up with this feeling also. it could very well be some kind of panic attack, and so because there is that possibility you should keep an eye on it. but i am wondering if you feel panicy or anxious when this is occuring? from what you wrote, and saying that you do fall asleep while this happening to you i guess not? or perhaps you are exhausted. i was told my experiance could have something to do with entering the sleep state, i got some suggestions of a possible ability to astral project, ect. it was possible i was told, that myself and my body where not properly aligned perhaps, whether going into sleep or out of sleep. i found these possibilities interesting, but i do find that this occurance happens to me usually when i am in a state of exhaustion, and my sences are overly sensitive. there might be more on this kind of stuff in astral realms. thats where my post is. take care. kisses jacqueline IP: Logged |
