Hi Knowflakes other opinions needed please!

I had my back xrayed by my M.D. and it shows spurs (lower back) and the area is inflamed with arthritis. A specialist is looking at the xrays as well. So far I`ve gleaned nothing except physical therapy & pain meds is the treatment.

I can`t live like this, there must be a program of vitamins, herbs et al that I can take to alleviate the pain & inflamation.

Does anyone know of such a program? I`m much too damn young & active for this to keep me down.

Please send me some healing energy too !!

Hi, Juniperb. Iīm gonna see what I can do from here, sending light and energy for you. Hope that radiesthesia helps me to find out the true cause of all that. I need to use your photo, if you donīt mind, of course, but I donīt see you at LindaLand Joints. I also need to know when all those symptoms appeared, how many days ago.

My e-mail is acostam757@hotmail.com if you wanna send your photo. If you think that is not a good idea, donīt worry.

Meanwhile, I tell you that a pyramid is good for that, but the first step is you reading my topic "Risks with pyramids" before doing anything.

I only know of a bone spur remedy posted to a list called Wellpet, but it's for human use as well.

Here's the recipe (ingredients can be cut in half to make a smaller batch):
3 oz. hydrangea root (Hydrangea aborescens) - cut & sift
3 heaped teaspoonfuls of crushed Natrum Phosphate 6X (homeopathic biochemic
tissue salt)-available in just about every health food store. Sold as Nat
Phos.
3 pints distilled water
100% pure vegetable glycerine

Process: In a glass or stainless steel pot, dissolve the nat phos in the
water, stir in the hydrangea root and let stand for no less than 6 hours at
room temperature - stir occasionally. After 6 hours, bring to a boil and
boil for 15 minutes. Strain, cool and add 25% of glycerine. Example: If
you're left with 1 cup of liquid, add 1/4 cup glycerine. Bottle and
refrigerate. Will keep for 10 days to 2 weeks. Shake well before dosing.
Dosage: 3/4 to one teaspoonful (for a cat or small dog) 2-3 times a day (I'd
go twice a day for a start with a cat). For adult humans, 1 tablespoonful
3-4 times a day.

When our dog Lizzie was alive, she improved whenever we were able to give her green-lipped mussel for her arthritis (a yeast-free version can be found at http://www.naturalrearing.com . The one acupuncture session she had also helped her mobility. Had she not had to be put down (for another problem), we would have continued with the acupuncture.

I feel that I seem to have to research/attempt to cure all of my health problems myself because Dr.'s have not helped me.

Good luck and hope it improves

I'm sorry to hear of your pain. While I haven't been officially diagnosed, I know I've got spurs too, (heel)...and osteoarthritis in several areas.

Just yesterday I did a search on CalMax, a powdered and supposedly highly absorbable form of calcium, and came across this link that impressed me with its claims. You might want to have a look:
http://www.best-calcium.com/?source=adwords_supplements

I HAVE NOT TRIED THIS YET, but I believe I will eventually. If you decide to, please let me know if it helps. Hope you feel better soon.

Please get a second opinion. See a chiropracter. Your doctor won't advise it, of course, but a second opinion can be very valuable. I'm not a big fan of MDs, though they are useful if you break a bone.

You don't have to live your life in pain. Let us know your next course of action, and I will see what I can find for you.

Hey Juni -
Not a physician of course -- but the first thing that popped into my mind is the toxin ridding combo of honey and vinegar. Seems i was "feeling" your pain --

And on another thread, there was conversation about a Chiropractor -- well, i do believe this is a good idea as Trillian suggests.

Thank you all. Some very insightful & helpful info here.

I`m waiting for a second opinion to come in. I`m not arguing the diagnosis because it`s where a nasty water sport injury occured 5 years ago.

I`ve been researching and all your ideas are valuable and I need to find a program that BCBS will go with and is as homeopathic as possable.

So far I believe a physical therapy w/massage program and a Chiropractor is the choice. Altho, I know a supplement program & diet change is in order and now I`m lost. There`s so much out there it`s mind boggling.

Detoxifying the body and strengthing the muscles ,joints and bones seem to be the key.

Grr, BCBS doean`t pay for a nutritionist/herbalist et al so I need to figure out a balanced program... Like how much calcium, Condroiton, Glucosamine ect I`ll need for safe effective recovery.

Honey & vinegar is a detoxifyer? Once again, how do you know how much?

Thanks for the recipes and links.

Bases, the true cause was I was tubing the rapids and a drunk in a canoe hit me and slammed me (the small of my back) into a protruding tree. A nasty injury that took months to recover from. I just didn`t expect it to bite me in the butt years later.

The 2nd opinion should be in today and I can get started on the road to recovery. I accept nothing less.

IMHO, mix a tablespoon of each once a day. You could even put it on a salad if you wish.

juniperb...have you gotten your 2nd opinion? I'm hoping it was very positive...

I am remembering you in my thoughts, and I know, I know you can beat this.

Second and third opinion all the same.

I`m off to a physical therapy evaluation today and to make apt. with the Chiropractor. I will beat it down; it`s just a matter of my mind set and finding the correct treatment.

Thanks so much for the healing prayers and help

Juni,

I read this a two weeks ago and wanted to reply earlier. Sorry for the delay I'm on holiday in Mendocino and just popped in to give Kev. a number on HIV support groups in Manchester.

I know just the thing for you. It's an enzyme called SERRATIOPEPITDASE. It is a protein enzyme isolated from the cocoon of the silk moth. It actually produces this enzyme to open it's own cocoon - amazing isn't it?

The moth makes this fantastic protein that shrinks swelling and inflammation from any joint, tissue, muscle, or tendon really quickly. I mean VERY fast. The good news is that it's totally natural, with no side effects at all. The people I have seen taking it have shown remarkable progress. It actually does other things like draining excess fluids, and it cleans up metabolic wastes from your blood enhancing tissue repair. It has cleared mucus and even blood clots and plaque. It's recommended for all types of arthritis, post operative swelling, carpal tunnel, disc pain and even varicose veins. All this because it happens to be good at drainage. S/P acts upon the inflammation by removing the fluids that collect around injured areas, whilst getting rid of old tissue, without harming new.

You'll be a smooth as silk Juni. Even your skin and hair will improve. My best friend had awful heel spurs and now she's totally mobile. In fact we exercise together, now she's turned into a mean machine. I tell you I can barely keep up!

I'm going to take it myself even though I don't have problems. I want my joints to stay healthy.

You can buy it from:
NUTRI HEALTH - 1800 914 6311 - ARTHRO ENZYME.

They give you a full money back no questions refund on all products. They are very good products.

Gia, thank you!!! I have never heard of the product. I will look into it as it sounds very healthful/helpful.
I have been blessed with another diagnosis and am finding it to be accurate and am receiving healing and relief. I thank the God/Dess daily

Yin, I miss you!
