After having bad, bad acne for years I finally figured out that milk has been the cause of all of it!
I've switched to Acidophilus milk (w/o Biffidus) and I'm curious if I'm allergic to milk or if my system just doesn't digest lactose?
Milk also makes my pores HUGE. The more milk I drink the worse my skin gets, including my chest and back!Anyone know the different symptoms of being lactose intolerant and allergies?  IP: Logged |

I forgot...I read that when you're allergic to foods you crave them more. I can drink a gallon of milk a day easily, and the more I drink the more I crave it. Does this mean I'm allergic, and why would it come out as acne and not a rash?IP: Logged |

I was allergic to milk growing up...I couldn't eat cheese or chocolate or ice cream and I hated it! The milk caused me to have so much mucus build up in my ears that I was 3/4 deaf until my ears got drained (and my mom wondered why I was so quiet, because I couldn't hear anything!)All I know is that now I drink a little milk here and there and I eat dairy. It doesn't bother me now. But you bring about an interesting point. I am going to stay away from dairy, and see if my skin gets better. See I used to be on birth control pills and they kept my skin soooo clear, and I want it clear again. Hope you figure it out.. ------------------
