Hi folks!
Gary is out of the hospital today following surgery. His throat is very sore though, and he finds it difficult to talk. However, although very tired, he contiinues to make good progress, and refuses to lie down and let this horrible disease take him over!

Incidentally, he swears he's felt some kind of healing, as he went from being very poorly, on drips and tubes etc., to walking around the very next day. This made the nurses mad as they said he shouldn't be up and about!

Hi, Angeldust. Great to hear about your husband. Tell the nurse Gary is fine, although his voice is to rest. He should wear in blue, ´cause that´s the right color for the 5th chakra. I know the knowflakes feel happy for you and Gary.

Thankyou Leonard, and all you knowflakes out there. I have just returned from a trip to the UK to be with Gary following what I can only describe as rather 'radical' surgery. He was very down, feeling quite sorry for himself...as anyone would... I was with him for a whole two weeks, and ministered healing on him every night, as well as hoemopathic remedies, to compliment the orthodox methods of his treatment. I remained positive and hopeful, refusing to think about any alternative to him fully recovering. I told him to do the same. He was weak though and had lost a lot of weight.
He returned to work on Friday. A different man. No one could believe the change in only a matter of days.He is well on his way to recovery. The next few weeks will be tough, as he needs radiation, but we are both looking to the future.
Incidently, could anyone explain why my focus on a 'white' healing light, changes itself to blue each time I am healing. It will not stay white.
Gary says my hands burn him. Is this usual also? Again, many thanks to you all.

Hi, Angeldust. Great to hear from you and Gary again. About the healing light´s color, when I use it, it is white, but with a light blue added. That´s the color my master taught me to use.

Angeldust, did you take measures according to my instructions about your bed´s location? It´s quite important you don´t underestimate that aspect, and forgive me if I insist.

Hello Leonard,
Yes, I changed the location of the bed, by just a few inches. The problem being that his bed in the UK is difficult to assess.
As for the healing light changing colour, I learned that the aura for the throat region is infact blue, and so that's the possible reason for that. However,Gary continues to improve!

What a painful experence... Life is sometimes funny like that. Lucky me to have not had any problems in my life of that calibure. I will send my love and light just as every other Knowflake would. People here at LL are so suportive. I'm glad, And I'm sure you are to.

A heartfelt thanks to you all. Gary has recovered well from surgery, radio/chemo therapy begins on Tuesday 10th August. It will be very tough on him, both emotionally and physically. I am giving him all my strength, but sometimes, well, on one occasion, I totally fell apart! Luckily I was with some very supportive people.
Something I had not realised about someone with a life threatening illness, is that they can be very rude and nasty to their carer's, which causes a great deal of pain. Gary told me he wanted to make me hate him, it would be easier for me if he didn't pull through. This hurt badly. I expect more of the same, though I know it's not intentional. That's when I need YOU GUY'S!!! Your just being here on this magical site gives me the strength I need. A friend told me I was a very strong woman, I told her it was all a big act, but maybe I am...thanx to you all.

Gary is responding well to the treatment, but it is making him feel very ill and weak. Please could I ask for some more white light? Thanx to you all. XX

First of all my best wishes for Angeldust and her husband… I hope he is doing well… I personally think alternative medicine and holistic therapies can do more in these cases than just cutting open and messing things around inside the body…

I bet the sunshine in Andalucia is helping him to recover… Keeping high spirits is crucial, it is what makes the difference… And gloomy England doesn’t help much… I have spent 4 years living in the UK so I know what I am talking about…

By the way… MASSAGE IS A NO-NO FOR CANCER SUFFERERS… I have recently qualified in body massage and this is one of the contraindications that make treatment impossible… Massage stimulates circulation and lymphatic drainage, therefore it will extend the cancer very quickly through the lymphatic system.

So you can impose your hands on the area or above it (like Reiki) but NEVER massage it…

Thanks to all my fellow knowflakes for helping me through what is an awful time. Gary has now completed his radiation and chemo therapy, but the side-effects have been pretty devastating. He has lost so much weight due to his inability to eat, I truly thought I was going to lose him. However, the healing is now in progress, and he has just started eating small amounts, so hopefully he will gain some weight, and regain his energy levels.
And to all you avid dieters out there...Gary was a few pounds overweight when his treatment began, and had the excess 'baggage' not been there to soak up some of the dreadful treatments he's just been administered, I think there would be no more Gary...

After just over a year in remission, the Doctors have found a new growth on Gary's vocal chord. He has a biopsy on Tuesday. I am so frightened.
