Many thinks, Gia, for taking the time, and for sharing. The extent of your knowledge still amazes me. I had such a grin going on while reading your post. Hey, maybe my oily skin is the reason people (still!) often mistake me for someone much younger? Although, I would think the furrow lines in my forehead (from a lifetime of concentrating) would give it away... I'll take it to heart, believe me I will. I've been trying to up my water consumption and lower my coffee consumption lately, and will continue to do so. (Believe me, I've gotten well over my daily dose of Niacin through coffee alone, for years. ) I'll also try to get ahold of the zinc, and some potassium supplements (bananas are way too bland and mushy for me). And by the way, I have always despised artificial sweeteners. Won't touch 'em. That one I think my body knew instinctively. Hey, on another note, I would be interested in looking at your birth chart, if that's okay with you. If not, if you'd rather keep it to yourself, that's cool, too. God/dess be with you. Thanks again. IP: Logged |

Gia, hope your holiday is wonderful.Quick change in subject. Was it you who posted a link about an independent film a few months ago? Esoteric in nature, playing in very few theaters... I can't find the thread, and wanted to see if it might yet be available on DVD. It will never play in theaters in my current corner of the world. All right, back to our regularly scheduled programming. Carry on. btw, paras. Caffeine is a drug. And drugs are bad, mmmkay? IP: Logged |

Paras,I have to tell you I have had my chart drawn up several times with various predictions. None of which have been accurate at all in the slightest not once! With the exception of a vedic chart done by an Indian holy man which was astounding. He knew stuff about me I'd forgotten. He also knew about my weird birth. I was born dead and taken to the hospital mortuary. I was induced whilst my mother was having a heart operation in 1959, very premature. I was pronounced dead. Many hours later, when they came to view my body, they found me quite alive and kicking. My father says the doctor that delivered me was beyond speechless and insistent that I was totally dead. I was so small that I fitted in the palm of his hand with room to spare. Do you think that has something to do with my chart never working out? I don't know *sigh* but it never has. Anyway, the Indian man knew it. He knew some very personal things about me, which I must say, did cause some embarrassment. I think that it's hard to find a proper astrologer dedicated to the correct practice of "reading" the chart. It requires such clarity of perception and a life long study of the science. However I'm game. 12. 18. 1959. Athens. Greece. Time unkown, but thought to be the early hours of the morning. Can't wait to hear what you find. You will share won't you? Gia IP: Logged |

Oh, lovely. So not only am I competing with a Holy Man, I don't even get an actual birth time??? You really know how to put a guy to the test, don't you, Gia? Fascinating story, though. You really wanted to LIVE, didn't you? Welll... *sigh* I'll give it my best shot... I don't make predictions, though, I just dig at personality. I'm no expert. IP: Logged |

Oh dear Paras, I didn't mean it to come out like that you know. Would it help if I gave you some clues as to some of my personality traits? I promise I'll be brutally honest [very Sag].I'm a typical Sag in many ways and then I'm not That's a great help don't you think? Well now let me see... I'm very small and not tall like some Sags are. I'm just a smidgen under 5ft 1" and 110 pounds. I'm a fuss pot about what I put on and in my body. I'm pretty organized at all times. I hate mess and dirt. I feel it actually interferes with my psyche. I care about small details even when it comes to my surroundings. My wind chimes have to be properly tuned as I hate useless noise. I must have space to move and room to breathe. When I was young with no money I sold everything in my apartment but the bed. It worked well. I love mountains, oceans, fresh air. I read tons. I write tons. I love to travel. I'd go almost anywhere to follow my passion. I've never really felt I belonged in any one place. I have no roots as such. I've lived in many different countries. I'm fluent in three languages. Sometimes I'll be thinking in one and writing in another, so please excuse any errors. I never use spell check and I type like the wind. I can't think of anything I'm particularly afraid of. I know how to look after myself and was totally independent from the age of 16. I left home at that age in search of a life. I hate false anything and for some really peculiar reason, immitation crab meat makes me smile. Will your thingy take a long time to do? When I'm excited to find out things I fidget a lot, then simply find it quite impossible to wait ages and ages. What if you find out I don't have any personality? Oh dear, what will I do? I'll have to go off in search of a wizard. Gia IP: Logged |

Dear Gia ~you are an amazing lady . i read everything you write with pure delight. from your travels with tibetan monks, meeting with the dalai lama's personal physician, your researches, your knowledge....all utterly fascinating! it so brightens my day! all the detailed infromation you've shared on health and supplements....i'm following all of it. thank you so much. it's just what i've needed to learn, but without the time and resources to discover on my own. i read once that knowledge is useless unless one uses it to help others. this you have done so elegantly. i love your stories, and i hope that you will continue to share your personal experiences, adventures and thoughts. and, i daresay, you yourself are a perfect wizard, with more personality than i hope to acquire in a lifetime. ~ * ~ hats off to you ~ * ~ talaith IP: Logged |

Gia....one more question...i do have many....(i'll try to limit myself)i have only enough money presently to purchase either the supplements you suggest (including the ones for thyroid), or a raditech. i must say, i'm very enthusastic about the raditech and have already submitted some questions to the company you recommend. however, i've waited a long time to purchase the host of supplements i feel vitally necessary for the improvement of my health. so my question to you is, which would you consider more fundamentally necessary for the overall enhancement of one's health.... (the supplements i currently take include a potent multivitamin, vit. c, kelp, calcium, iron, vit. e and vit. b complex). over and again....thank you so very much.... IP: Logged |

The use of copper for medicinal purposes is found throughout recorded history. One of the worlds oldest medical text called the Eber Papyrus states the following:"Treat inflammation with pulverized copper." Handmade copper bracelets are best because they keep the crystalline structure of the copper intact. Machine stamped copper puts too much pressure on the crystals. A cheap copper that has been machine stamped will work to some extent, but it's not as good. I wear a Sergio Lube bracelet. They are handmade and the metals he uses are solid. The copper is 99.99% lead free and mercury free. That is so important. You may find your nearest reatailer by going to: www.sergioLub.com I wear one with two magnets inserted in the inner wrist section of the copper. I'm a great believer in magnets. My own research has confirmed that iron and many electrolytic salts salts in our blood circulate biomagnetically. To wear magnets can increase this and your vital Chi. It would be interesting to read the work of Dr. Linus Pauling who received the Nobel Prize in 1954 for his discovery of the magnetic properties of hemoglobin. I'm sure Sergio has some of this info and more posted on his site. Actually Sergi published his own paper "Copper on skin," in 1995 published by the international conference on new science. Another interesting read. Your second question is harder. The Raditech will have to win hands down. Ring Rolf Gordon and make sure you talk to him. Tell him where you got your info from on this site. He will do a free reading for you. Please consult a doctor if you wish to use magnets and have any kind of pacemaker or electrical implant, also if you are pregnant. Hope this helps. Gia

Gia, I didn't want to post my medical history here, but I guess you missed my last post. I have had all those tests done: the hormonal one showed no actual PCOS presence, my thyroid is fine, so I need to go and have a HPV test done. The thought of going back to the doctors after I've been examined by so many with no result or stable diagnosis is unpleasant. I simply refuse to undergo more pointless tests. Maybe I'm being silly, I don't know.

If you can just save it or send me an empty email so I can have yours, that will be great. Looking forward to hearing from you. well, now...i've ordered my Sergio Lub copper bracelet....a simple copper cuff with magnets. from an ebay store, no less! The ART-ERY Gallery they have nice gemstone cuffs that he designed also. that was excellent information Gia...do you know why magnets are discouraged for pregnancy? the only reason i could find was that there is no research showing that it is safe...but nothing to say of the harm??? and, i've sent an email regarding the raditech, mentioning your name. i probably will call tomorrow (or today rather) as well. i'm so excited! Awww, Gia... I feel bad. I have sooo many projects in the works... I think it's a case of "bit off more than I could chew". I don't know quite when I'll get to your 'personality'. But rest assured, you have plenty of it! That much I can already prognosticate with certainty!!! I promise I'll get back to you on the astrology as soon as I can. (And thanks for the self-description -- that will help pin down your birth time!) Until then... enjoy the complex! Paras IP: Logged |

I don't think there is any harm at all. It is mainly a legal precaution just like you see on gym machinery. I know many expectant mothers who have copper bracelets. However I do have to say, nobody has done studies on the unborn child and copper/magnetic bracelets. When you are expecting your body does not need to be stimulated with magnets, it's already going through many changes. I think it's a sensible precaution. I would not use many essential oils on an expectant mothers either. Gia IP: Logged |

Paras,Please don't worry, I just like to poke fun[jest] with you. I'm sure it's not a huge priority, so please don't feel at all pressured. I'm far too curious to know things that I'm probably better off not knowing. I did edit this. I wanted to add that I really like that word "prognosticate" it seems to rhyme well with "f....cate." Just thought I'd mention it. Just in case it might be of wordly importance to someone. I love rhymes don't you? Gia
