Within and around the earth,
Within and around the hills,
Within and around the mountains,
Your power returns to you.A Tewa Prayer
That is why the old Indian sits upon the Earth instead of propping
himself up and away from its life giving forces. For him to sit or
lie upon the ground is to be able to think more clearly and feel more
keenly. The old Lakota knew that man's heart away from nature
becomes hard; he knew that lack of respect for living things soon
led to lack of respect for humans too.

i've learned with much relish lately quite a bit about earth energies, energy grids etc...
mostly from Gia and bases loaded and the related websites they've recommended.
i'd heard of ley lines, but that's about it, and i'm still trying to understand all the differences and similarities among these.
still not sure exactly what ley lines are. interestingly, so many of these enrgies are fundamentally related to feng shui.
and i'm always on the lookout for more feng shui type of knowledge and 'cures'. well, a lot of it is right here in this topic!
this topic is broad, i admit, but i'd like to be able to compare and contrast and learn more about how interrelated all this stuff is. including such items as electro-magnetic fields.
i hope this is a good spot for this and that it will be of interest here.
i found the above prayers from a link from a website provided by bases loaded.
this particular section speaks of planetary acupuncture and connecting with the power of place. it is about a meditation one may perform in order to connect with the earth's energies in any given spot.

and, from the link provided by bases loaded ~
[some places have] more subtle levels of vibration, strengthening our body and spirit. Such places were sought-after throughout history and held as sacred. Some are natural wonders like Ayers Rock (the Aborigines have long known this), the Grand Canyon, the Matterhorn and countless other places on this planet which inspire the millions of modern pilgrims we call tourists. Other strong areas of geopathic stresses are man-made poles of attraction built on powerful sites by architects or priests obeying a sacred tradition, like the pyramids of Egypt, the statues of Easter Island or many Gothic cathedrals.
