I woke up from my afternoon nap speaking what I think was abariginal, or like Nell from the movie "NELL" with jody foster. Wonder what that's all about??? Past Life?

Mr. Gia says I speak in tongues all the time. Funny thing is, he has a problem sometimes with his hearing and we often caryy on two separate conversations. I'll be chatting away and he'll answer back something totally unrelated. I'm standing their trying to figure out why the heck he'd bring that up. Normally he tries to guess what I've said. It drives me up the wall. How can you guess what someone has said? Why not just ask? I swear I do wonder what he thinks I'm talking about sometimes. I asked him if he wanted another potato the other day and he told me it was quarter past two!?!

I thought I would get some enlightenment on the Bibical reference to "speaking in tongues". A laugh is just as valued tho, thanks!  ------------------

Pentecost Miracle at St John's Church of Glastonbury Towards the end of the main Sunday Eucharist on the Feast of Pentecost 1993, five members of the congregation seated in different parts of the church began to 'speak in tongues'. This had never happened before in the church and none of the individuals concerned were familiar with this experience. As far as is known all were regular members of the congregation. One of the men who 'spoke in tongues' in particular was very disturbed and upset by the totally involuntary nature of the experience. At the end of the service, each separately and without any contact with the other speakers was asked to write down the meaning of the words that had been 'placed in their mouths'. In all respects, they were identical apart from slight errors in spelling. The text read as follows: I AM equipping you,
I AM healing you,
I AM leading you, but
UNLESS you draw near to Me I cannot feed you.
UNLESS you come to Me, I cannot heal you.
UNLESS you empty yourself, I cannot fill you.
My people, there is still hardness in your hearts; hardness from anger, hardness caused by putting yourself in My rightful place.
REPENT of this hardness.
TURN to Me again and live.
COME that I may renew you in body, mind and spirit.
COME to Me that I may heal you.
COME to Me that I may equip you that I may send you out by the Power of My Spirit to RELEASE those bound by fear, to PROCLAIM forgiveness and to SHOW love to all people. My children, I AM coming to you. There you go Juni. Gia

I have an idea about that! I am a medium and have contact with the spirit world...I believe what happend (and just my opinion) was that you were channeling a spirit guide. It can happen. I don't know what your beliefs are...I think you can say if you don't want that to happen...but...perhaps its a tip-off that this "gift" would be available to you--if you would like. Thanks for the comment Merciful1. Although it may have sounded like I was joking, the experience was very shaking. If I were channeling, who could I have been channeling to? There was no one else around.

Thanks so much for the welcoming, I really appreciate it. As I mentioned, it might just have been a tipoff...that this "gift" could be available to you...if its something you'd be interested in. This happens to me sometimes...I'm not channelling to anyone...(I live alone)...but spirit is showing me how they can use my voice. I believe at some point in the future that I will be doing trance mediumship. I was afraid of it when I was younger. Anyway, depending where you are located...there may be local Spiritualist churches. There are good ones, and there are some that are to be avoided. It depends what kind of people you end up with. I was in development classes for five years. Even if you don't want to be a medium per se, it is great to know your "guidance". In other words, you develop your clairvoyance, you get to know your spirit guides, etc. There are online communities and chats on the subject too. All the best to you....merciful1IP: Logged |
