Hello KnowflakesI just started out the color diet... for the plumpies... need to get rid of some "excess baggage". Anyway... i could only find 2 ruby glasses...so i kept them in the sun the entire day before i officially started the diet... and i let them reach room temperature at night...so when i woke up and diet the sunrise color bath... i went for a brisk morning walk later and came back and drunk both glasses of ruby water. Now i want to know is that so far have i done anything incorrect??? Secondly, is one only supposed to drink the ruby water, or can one drink refrigerated water as well ... coz i spent a day without drinking normal water...and i feel so parched. SO please anyone..advise me on this Thank you and Cassandra IP: Logged |

Oh, I think you can drink as much water as you like, so long as you consume your ruby water.Good luck, keep us posted on your progress. IP: Logged |

So long as you drink the minimum amount of solarized water, drink however much extra water your body feels it needs.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Hi Cassandra,I believe, you can carry on as normal - the diet shouldn't uneccessarily your normal activities - as long as you follow the colour code, everything else is a bonus, am I right? I'm not aware of Linda mentioned any special excercises.. apart from the colour bath and red march music at the same time everyday. Cassandra, were you able to get a 60 watt opaque red bulb to fit a desk lamp? This is from memory - so I think it was 60watt - I tried to obtain one here years ago but could only get a 40watt IP: Logged |

Hi SheaaI know its hard to believe... but i got a 100watt one... it doesnt fit inside the lamp exactly... the outer rim juts out. Its manufactured by Phillips... a dear friend of mine "crossed the red sea" to get it for me... if you know of an official phillips dealership... maybe they can hook you up with one. and Cassandra

Hey Cassandra Oh yes - anything with a pronounced drum / beat should be fine I would've thought - I never used marching music either. I used to use hiphop alot LOUD to compensate for the 40watt bulb!! Wow - I'd appreciate it if you would be able to link me with that bulb - if that's possible, I'd appreciate it although, I'm not sure we sell lamps here that take 100watts. I'm sure I can find one though. Please let me know if you can get hold of the bulb, I'm sure Randall will give you my email if you need to get hold of me Many thanks, Sheaa IP: Logged |

Sheaa, IF I still have some 100w red bulbs, I will gladly mail some to you. I'm not sure they're still around, though. Did you meet with success doing this program?IP: Logged |

Hi all ! I have a 40 watt bulb too Shea, but I was on the blue skinny diet trying to gain weight. I just put the bulb closer to me. I only lasted a few days on the diet. I tried it several times but the longest I lasted was a week. The food part was the hardest for me. But I read more 411 in LG's star notes somewhere, it it sounds like it might be easier now, now that there is extra 411 on the food part etc. My expereince on the diet-nothing happened the first few days, then I gained weight on my thighs, stretch marks too I don't know what would have happened if I stayed on the diet to the end. But that was years ago when I tried it. THe weight is still pretty much in the same spot since I gained it. So, yea, I think she was right about how once you gain/lose weight you'll stay at that weight for the most part. Good luck and keep us posted! IP: Logged |

Hi, I got my bulb from the place that Linda lists in Star Notes it was about 15 dollars apiece for 1 (I bought two). They are 100watt bulbs. Good Luck!------------------ Get some love in your groove, just get hip to forgive... - Michael Franks IP: Logged |

You can buy those at any hardware store Sheaa. We do have 100 watt bulbs in the United Kingdom. Trillian the bulb fittings are different in the Untited Kingdom, so to ship them would be a waste of your time hon. I had to convert all my lamps when I shipped them over. Sheaa go to B&Q. If not, any art store will have them. Sheaa IP: Logged |

Hello everyone Trillian - thank you for the offer. I'm in the process of waiting for a company to call back so will post what I found in my reply to Gia I tried the red colour diet years ago - probably about 8 years ago I think, before I went to uni. It was impossible keeping with a routine at the time, but I did it when I could & over that time I did start to lose a bit of weight.. however it was difficult to tell whether it was the colour baths & music or a natural progression! I'd like to try it again now. pisces-girl - I got the extra stretchmarks too from losing weight! I'm glad you regained the weight I presume you're happy with? I shall indeed let you know if I can get a red routine together again! In fact will check out the link Silverbells mentioned. Gia, I started the search again after 8 years! B&Q say they don't provide 100watt red bulbs, or lamps to take them. Sooo.. I called Rexell - a lighting wholesalers based in Woking & Farnham - nope - BHS? - them neither! They couldn't think of any other providers either?! So I asked, if I got a lamp & bulb imported from the US would it be OK to adjust to UK standards - and apparently the US have 110watt fittings so upon plugging in I would create a loud bang! Right.. well - it may have to be a 40 watt & a 60 watt then... just called Rexell again & they say there's only a fireglow bulb - orangey/red 60watt (clear) available.. no 40watts!!! I don't recall but is clear OK? Hey Cassandra - how are you doing with all this so far? Would your Philips dealer have some good advice on how I can broach this too? Whatta palava! ------------------ "The past is history, the future is a mystery, & this moment is a gift.. that's why it's called 'the present'." Anon IP: Logged |

Hey Sheaa.. well i wish you good luck... I spoke to the guy, he said in the UK, try in southhall, there the indian people use 100Watt red bulbs in their temples and gurudwaras... so maybe you might find some luck there. My bulb fused out... so i couldnt do it today... so im starting over when my new one arrives.
In the list Linda mentioned icecream and mayo... is that homemade or can be store brought???????? Is vanilla icecream alrite to eat??? and Cassandra

Hey Cassandra thanks I always think that homemade food will be better since you know what's in it. However I'm sure that healthy store bought mayo & icecream is fine or she would have warned against it - however, there are a hefty selection of additives to consider! Either make your own with sweetener, or use your instincts as I do See sugar is a difficult one, Linda warns against it, however it's in so much of our food nowadays - plus it makes things yummy I use a substitute made from sugar, in things I make.. tastes just the same. Did your bulbs arrive yet? IP: Logged |

was it chicken tandoori and naan ? even if it wasn't,you haven't broken the diet cassandra because white flour and chicken are allowed in the plumpie diet. btw,i'm on the diet too, only in my first week and i'm improvising on my 60 watt bulb by doing 24 minutes instead of fifteen...i've got a lot to lose, especially round the tummy...so patiently working at it.. wish you the best of luck! -gooober------------------ the rain goes pitter patter, pitter patter.. my brain is all in a scatter... you don't mind? then i guess it won't matter ;) IP: Logged |

Don't sweat it honey, they're the right colours and I don't recall Linda saying anything about excluding white flour or chicken.. so I reckon you're good to go IP: Logged |

I think I ordered mine from Brian's in Rye. I had them in my garden and at the Mill for special fuctions. I know you can get them. Shall I ring Brian for you? Decorators use them, restaurants, use them and people with couloured light decorations use them. I got them years ago. I think I'll ring Brian. Gia IP: Logged |
