I have heard about 'updated' info from STAR NOTES but cannot access it. the server has been down for quite a while now! can anybody give me hints on this diet? what foods are allowed now that wasnt permitted in the 'star signs' book? BRING on THE SUCCESS STORIES! it always makes ones beliefs a whole lot more believable! tamaryn IP: Logged |

HI, and welcome! Are you in the Red loch or Green loch?I understand that red meat is out of the question regardless which plan your doing. Also, white flour or sugar is also not recommended. So that means no pasta, or pizza ect... Linda put lazagna in Star Signs, but noted in Star notes that it contains white flour. For Red, eat everything Red, Orange, and Yellow, and White, like potato, WITHOUT the brown skin. For Green, that means anything Blue, Green, and Brown I think. I personally haven't tried it, I think im neither overweight nor underweight, but I don't count calories, and I don't weigh myself. KEEP AWAY FROM NUMBERS, you must reprogram your brain from relating weight with numbers. It's light energy only. Hope that helps... ------------------ "And dreams, don't ever forget, are the first step in manifesting wishes into reality"-- Linda Goodman's Star Signs

Thanks for your help! The part I couldnt understand is the white flour issue. she says you can have spaghetti and pizza in the book. but you cant have flour. what is that all about? Ive been on the RED loch for 2 days now. I dont have a lot to lose. Maybe 5 pounds. But my weight fluctuates a little too much for my liking and would like to stabilise that! I dont think I have much programming to "re programme"! i dont care much for scales. as long as i fit into clothes thats great! and good for you for being happy with yourself. there arent many out there. we are all perfect, and should strive towards that. tamaryn IP: Logged |

There was a discrepency there within Star Signs regarding white flour. You can't have flour, so that means no pizza, pasta ect..Linda did apologize for that.Yes that's important you stay away from scales...as long as your healthy that's the main thing. I could lose a bit off my backside, but eh...there's no rush! Good luck with it! Let us know how you go... ------------------ "And dreams, don't ever forget, are the first step in manifesting wishes into reality"-- Linda Goodman's Star Signs IP: Logged |

OOps! I was so sure Sorry for misleading you Tamaryn, I should have double-checked! Silly me. Thanks Trillian Tamaryn: Here it is direct from Star-notes, for you! quote:
The second question most frequently asked is 100% my fault. I can't blame the typesetter or the publisher of Star Signs for this one! Your acute intellects have been asking yoursleves (and me!) a very logical question. "You say that white flour is a no-no," many of you write, "and you say that anything brown, such as whole wheat flour, is forbidden on the plumpie diet-- that we can only use the colour 'white'-- so how are we to make the noodles and pizza and so forth wich are permitted for the plumpies who want to lose weight, if we can't use either brown or white flour?" An excellent point. Here is how I goofed, and I apologize for the error in the book. Before I explain it, let me answer the question first. You may use white flour when you make your noddles (with yellow butter!). This is why. A few pages before the list of permissable red-gold-yellow-orange ray foods for the plumpie diet, I wrote that white flour products are no-no's, not good for you. True. What I neglected to say is that it's true, in general, for everyone, plumpies and skinnies alike. However, while you are involved in the Color Diet or Rainbow Diet, certain basic or general rules may be broken-- only for the period of the color transformation. When you have balanced and harmonized your body, having redistributed and lost the proper amount of weight, then you can return to following counsel that white flour and white sugar are no-no's for your general health.
