I'm caring for someone who is physically handicapped. I believe that there are ways of healing, that we are not meant to be bound to a wheelchair. Perhaps lessons are to be learned and all that, but are there any "cures"? Does anyone have any stories or resources about healing the pysical body? I am especially interested in cases involving MS or of parapalegic IP: Logged |

In the case of MS, have you looked into the potential problems of having mercury/amalgam fillings in the teeth? There is some research indicating their debilitating affects on our bodies. Is this the specific problem of the one in your care? IP: Logged |

yes, I take care of a person with MS, and will possibly be helping a paraplegic with some chores. Being who I am, I look for answers. Not for "why", that is beyone my relm of understanding. it isn't me. but "what can be done" if anything? I wonder if there is an astrological signature for such cases, and if there is a way to balance. perhaps an herbal or crystal therapy that would help. even a bit. IP: Logged |

There are healing miracles taking place all around the world. I attended a Christian healing crusade and saw a boy give up his crutches. I attended a Catholic healing Mass and the priest leading it was legally blind and received his sight miraculously. I have heard phenomenal stories of the deaf being made to hear, people being healed of AIDS. The most important thing is faith....but I think it's good to also check out what all natural treatments and remedies there are. Bless you! (Oh, I have had healings in my life too, but nothing as dramatic as MS.) IP: Logged |

I have been in a wheelchair for 11 years and I am REALLY tired to able-bodied people wanting to "cure" us. I have Spina Bifida but there is nothing WRONG with me. I'm never going to walk again...'I' accept that. Why can't 'you' accept that the person you're caring for most likely WON'T get better? Does this person even want your "help"?I'm sorry if this sounds harsh but I am SO tired of able-bodied people having the attitude that disabled people need to be FIXED. IP: Logged |

jfjinca, I'm sorry if I've upset you. The person I'm enquiring about does believe She will walk again. It has been relatively recently that she lost that ability. At times She feels discouraged, but is finding faith and strength where she can. She indeed does appreciate my help and my desire to see her heal. Medical Advancements are constantly happenning, and these days.. at the rate of discovery and what we already know.. Just a matter of time. IP: Logged |
