Hi Ladies,

Have any of you out there found since becoming a parent that you have gained incredible mental strength, like you dare to do things that you wouldnt before you gave birth. A part of me was so wishy-washy, too good to be true at times, always let others walk over me and could never say NO! My grandmother (God rest her soul) used to say "you dont know yourself till you have a child". Before I gave birth, a few years before, I went for a reading and the reader said the child that was coming to me would be my healer. I didnt know WTF he meant, but now I do. Isnt there a part of you that becomes fearless, more outspoken and tougher...........I suppose when you have almost lost life thro childbirth the transformation is going to be huge.......what do you girls think? Hi Sue g,

I don't know if it would be strength necessarily, for me, as much as a change in perspective. Once I was responsible for another life, outside of my own, everything was looked at with a whole new set of ' I's '....

Thanks Gem for that, I know what you mean, it changes all things. When I talk of strength, did you ever hear of that woman whose child was stuck under a car and she actually lifted the vehicle to free her little one - thats the type of strength I feel, but its from the mind and at times could move mountains - love to all xxx

Ah. Yes Sue, now that kind of strength I understand! Hopefully, it'll never be tested in such ways however. My Son tests me daily so, I am coming to realize, with my first Saturn Return, is that what I really need to alter is my temper... Thank All that is Good, my babies put up with me
