I already have two pots with Aloe Vera. I am just wondering where do I go from here? I was wondering, (the reason for having Aloe Vera seemed quite practicle ) what other herb could I grow that would be quite handy. Is there an herb for stess of mental fatigue that I could grow in a little pot?IP: Logged |

yay...our cyber-herb garden is under way! i'm going to research your question trilioth...i have some good sources on hand. but i have a confession... i did the impetuous aries thing again...yesterday i was shopping for organic lawn products and potting soil for my little christmas tree (from last christmas and begging to be repotted in a real planter...) and i found myself in the most spectacular place with an abundant selection of herbs and all kinds of loveliness! i purchased rosemary, oregano, mugwort, lemon verbena, garlic and yarrow. all have strong spiritual and protective properties. and as i am wont to gather the stuff and then let it fall by the wayside, i went ahead and simply planted them, with organic potting soil in some terra cotta containers. i have so many gardening books and websites that i've only purchased, skimmed, and then put aside, i thought some action this time would serve me better than researching and doing it the 'proper' way. i suppose this is how one really learns! i'm sorry that i didn't wait and begin our cyber garden in sync with the world. but i am just beginning, with an enormous need for knowledge in this area, so i hope to share experiences and tips with anyone who cares to contribute to the LL garden, whether it be seeking or offering guidance and advice. my bent is organic...all the way, but this is a garden for everyone, so i hope that this thread will entertain seekers and guides and growers of all colors and persuasions... viva la earth-upon-our-hands-and-hearts! HW, I would advise you to keep your feelings about your child hidden from him. If even he is Christ incarnate, he will thank you to let him have a regular childhood, without pressure to be special. Sorry I meant to post this in the other thread where you talk about your dream!IP: Logged |

I would agree with maklhouf. My mother named me Daniel, and she often scolded me for not being like my biblical self.------------------ it'll be a''ight just gotta do whatcha gotta do IP: Logged |

oh yeah, I used my blender to chop up some aloe and i drank it with a little water added in. the stalks were light green... I felt a rush of energy. I do not recommend this on an empty stomach. I had no orange juice. I have not noticed any side effects other than the minor stomach pain. I cured that with some brasil nuts and a v8. sound like another project IP: Logged |
