I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine what you're going through right now, my Mother is my best friend too.

Eliza....I seldom come to this particular forum, so I have not really had the chance to know you.....

....but I would like you to know that my heart goes out to you at this time.

I'm so sorry you had to experience seeing your mom sick and then depart this world...

I can relate, as I had to watch my mom get sicker and then finally leave us, too...

Being of a different generation, both my mom and I are/were older than you and your mom...but the pain of losing a loved one knows no age differences...*sigh*

I lost my dad to cancer too...ten years earlier..but there was comfort in knowing they were both in a better place when they left us...*sigh*

I'm glad you were able to celebrate her life with the good memories...

Eliza, words seem so inadequate at times, like this but I truly hope you can find some comfort (which it seems you have) in knowing your mom is in a better place right now too...

I wish I could be there with you because I would give you a great big ((((((((((hug))))))))))...and let you know you are not alone...

Lots of people here at LL are here for you...and it's good to know that you feel your mom's presence...she is there with you too...

You are a brave, strong girl, Eliza...You mom did a good job with you.....

Hang in there, honey...

Love,
Rainbow~

I am sad that you & your family are in pain. I follwed her journey through your post.

I wish you the most comforting thoughts of her, and the life you shared.
