Does anyone have any experience with Endometriosis...?

I would really like to hear feedback from someone who actually has the disease. (or anyone knowledgable on it, for that matter)

What worked, what didn't.....all that good stuff.

Thank you! to anyone that replies, in advance............

Pregnancy is the best treatment. Or menstruation interval for some time. Woman in menopause don't suffer from it.After pregnancy the disease very often disappears

GLLF,

You might've seen this already, but here's a link to an excellent resource for info on Endometriosis:
* http://www.endometriosis.org/

* http://www.endometriosisassn.org/

* http://www.endocenter.org/ - this one has an A/V presentation on it.

The most common symptom is pelvic pain:

"Pain may be felt:
before/during/after menstruation
during ovulation
in the bowel during menstruation
when passing urine
during or after sexual intercourse
in the lower back region

Other symptoms may include:
diarrhoea or constipation (in particular in connection with menstruation)
abdominal bloating (again, in connection with menstruation)
heavy or irregular bleeding
fatigue"

There are several treatment options for it, including pain killers, hormonal treatments, nutritional therapy, etc.; there's more here:
http://www.endometriosis.org/treatment.html

Sending the afflicted one healing light,

Sunshine

There is a lot of info and a great web community at www.mothering.com/discussions/
that can give great insite about endometriosis.

I've thought myself that I could be suffering from that, and they really helped me.
