Hello,I had the weirdest almost paralysing sensations last night, was I dreaming. Very powerful almost lumps of waves travelling through my body, particulary my legs and arms, I did wake up and still felt them and was veru frightened by this, I could not move so just prayed. I have been very stressed past 8 months and stress usually comes out in migraine or severe palpatations so this has freaked me out. I do not think it was just a dream as I said it woke me and was still happening. Today I feel sick and very shaky. Any insight please Me Aqua 14/2/60 10.55am Scotland Thank You xxx IP: Logged |

I don't know what that would be... sounds like a nerve thing maybe? Nerve stuff happens to me more often when I'm lying down. (After a visit to the osteopath once I experienced little 'wavy' sensations up the side of my neck or like little feet were running up it, and this happened while I was lying in bed. Combined with other nerve stuff that has happened to me, I've concluded that lying down has something to do with our nervous system). It wouldn't hurt to see a doctor just to check it out! In periods when I have been very stressed, I also experienced when laying in bed itching all over my body, I thought first it was something that made me itch, but I now think that my body feels different and my senses become a bit different when I am extremely stressed, especially with a migraine, cause when having a migraine, I see shapes and things that are not real or as they are supposed to be. So I dont know, its probably only "mental" and not dangerousLove & light IP: Logged |

Hmm? Not sure what to say?? Anything else going on? tripping? leg spasms? dropping things? confusion? Pay attention to what's going on and when and see a doctor. if you don't get an answere keep paying attention to what your body is asking for. Pains, spasms, etc. are our body's way of getting our attentionIP: Logged |

Hi,Just a quick update, it only happened the once, was scary tho. My friend gave my Reiki day before and she thought maybe it was to do with that but no real explanation as to why. I can only assume it was different reaction to severe stress. Last time anything really odd happened that I could not explain was many years ago after root canal tratment! went to bed and every time I tried to sleep I got a distinct and very loud buzz in my head, like those toy / machines that you have to avoid the sides or it buzzes, anyway same time and no I am not mad I hope, with eyes closed a sort of lit up screen was in my forehead and tho not asleep I could see things, people, places even myself in 3d ( scary sight that was ) I acknowledge what I see and the images disappear, its like flicking thru playing cards, very fast, I have always wondered what this was and why it happens, its not so often now tho, as I say the minute I realise what I "see" it goes away. Would love an explanation if anyone else has experienced the same. xxx IP: Logged |

I'm no expert, but my mother does get strange things like that. She's been to the doctor before about these lights, patterns, head buzzing etc that she's had at various times and there is no explanation. She does get migraines though. I had a strange experience once where a vivid memory from my childhood flashed into my head, like I was reliving it (I was fully awake though, not even in bed). Neurons working in overdrive? Which could definitely be stress-related. Having said that, maybe someone else here knows more about it than I do. IP: Logged | |
