My chronic fatigue seems to be back again. I constantly look and feel tired, and it's awful... I've been on this rollercoaster for ten years now and it just seems like my health just can't stay consistent. I know all the techniques, all the cleansing, nutrient-boosting, immune-boosting, exercise, blah blah... I've done it all before but it never seems to be enough. It's getting to the point now where I have to sleep late and still feel bad during the day, and I'm starting to find it difficult to find the energy for work. In fact I'd just rather sleep. I'm just about to make some pau d'arco tea and try that until I run out of it... I'm VERY low on money at the moment so I can't afford to buy anything, so I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who can do a distance reiki healing for me to give me a boost?? I would really appreciate it!

Yep, I've had all the tests done from the doctor and thyroid was fine. The only thing that re-emerges every now and then is the Epstein-Barr Virus, which seems to rear it's ugly head every so often and there is nothing conventional that can cure it - only thing I know of is the pau d'arco.

Sorry to hear that GL
What you said reminds me of a book I was recommended once called "sick and tired of feeling sick and tired"... I'm not sure who the author is but it addresses a lot of your symptoms. There's no harm in checking it out- see if it calls to you or not. (I would do a google search now but I dont have time at the moment)

I do Reiki occasionally, and I will keep you in my thoughts and send positive healing energy your way.

Also, what do you usually eat and drink? . I know you said you did things like cleansing and detoxing, but how long did you persue those things? Are you still doing them at the moment?
You don't have to answer those questions if you don't want to but sometimes diet can really be a big player. You can feel lethargic and tired during a cleansing crisis if you are currently on a detox too btw.

Have faith you'll find answers and begin healing.

Are you a vegetarian? Vegetarians are susceptible to iron deficencies. I've gone through this myself. Don't buy iron supplements; rather, increase your iron intake with foods and things like organic blackstrap molasses.

I know you are low on funds, but there is one supplement I would recommend. It's called Flora-Dix, made in Germany (hmmm, I think it's Germany) from natural herbal sources, and it is loaded with iron. Go through a bottle or two and you might find you're well on your way to having more energy and feeling better.

I'm not fond of "enriched" products that are high in iron. That just means that all the good stuff has been stripped away through over-processing, then added back in unnaturally. But there are lots of foods you can eat that contain iron. And don't forget that blackstrap molasses. You can put it in a smoothie.

Thanks for all the help and suggestions! As I consider everything that's been said and work through all of the possibilities the conclusion I have to arrive at is that my problem is related to my immune function, which I believe gets run down through stress. A few months ago an iridologist also said my adrenal glands were practically exhausted (again this is stress related... some of you may remember me saying that I've been through my Saturn return recently; the roughest period of my life, ever, and I hope not to experience something like it ever again).

To answer your questions... my diet is quite good, although I'm not perfect at all. I eat mostly fish and vegetables and complex carbohydrates, also I do eat dairy products (yoghurt mostly and a bit of cheese every now and then but not too much of it). I've done the candida diet in the past and it was so strict, it was horrible. So I now do have treats of one or two coffees a day and most days I'll have something like a muffin or a couple of cookies. I would hate to have to give up those pleasures. Having had intestinal candida a long time ago and battled my way through that, I have an awareness of how foods react with my body so if I get any bad signs then I adjust... for this reason I don't eat processed food or junk food like chips. The candida diet made me lose most of my taste for processed, chemical-added foods... thank goodness. I was eating a lot of chicken and bacon for a while but then I wondered if that was affecting my hormones so I've just recently quit eating bacon and cut way down on chicken...

I don't know if I can get mate here, but I'll look into it! Strangely, I've found that a cup of pau d'arco tea gives me a boost. It's a natural immune booster as well as antibacterial and antifungal, and it also contains iron, so that's interesting and gives me some clues about what might be going on.

As for the iron, I'm not strictly vegetarian plus I also take spirulina which is high in iron and B12. Last time I had a blood test, which is when I went to the doctor about my fatigue, it turned out my iron and B12 levels were excellent even though I don't eat red meat... so my nutrients seem to be quite good and I would consider my diet to be balanced...

So after considering all these things that you've gotten me to think about, it seems like my immune system is the main criminal... I'll try to keep boosting it and try to reduce my stress (difficult to do when people place demands on you)...

Thank you!

Dear GeminiLover ~

have you tried the 5 Tibetan Rites? For rejuvenating your body and restoring your energy...these are tremendous in their healing power. i've read accounts of these when performed by people almost immmobile in physical capacity and energy, they start with a very limited version and work up...and notice results almost immediately, from increased energy and well-being to the alleviation of health problems. i've done them myself and can attest to that, and i'm starting to practice them again.

they take very little time and space to do each day. i would suggest trying these 5 rites daiy and see what they do for your physical dispostion.
