Well Ive heard good and bad...bad...for the jaw joints if youre constantly chewing good...for popping the ears, evening out the pressure around your eardrum. Also I hear that its good to chew after you eat because it instigates the release of digestive juices, obviously in the mouth, but I also heard in the stomach as well...I have to check that out myself. Im sure chewing in the mouth probably signals the brain to release enzymes in the digestive tract. Can anyone confirm that? IP: Logged |

Here are a few more pros to chewing gum I heard over the radio today...Chewing sugarless gum generates Alpha waves in the brain inducing a relaxed state. Chewing gum also boosts up the brain power...by increasing oxygen to the brain thru increased blood flow. IP: Logged |

Chew Xylitol Gum. It's good for you. The other sugarless gums have fake chemical sweeteners. IP: Logged |
