Hello SunChild!! Boy does the sun really make a difference, it was sunny where I go to college today, despite that it was 15 degrees, blustery, with snow on the ground, I am so happy today. A nice break from the feelings of dreariness I've had all week! I heard tanning beds are bad for skin too, I haven't done the research about how bad they are so I'm not sure, but there's girls at my school that tan every week and their skin already looks leathery IP: Logged |

I used to be affected by SAD, but I seemed to have grown out of it. IP: Logged |

SAD is relatively common here in Canada...though we're probably more used to the change in seasons than our more southern neighbours.Indoor tanning beds Alot of their business comes from teens. Increased dosage of uv for prolonged periods of time definitely increases the chances of developing skin cancer. Check out this link... http://www.skincancer.org/artificial/index.php IP: Logged | |
