I don't know if the same goes for the 7-11s in the US as well...

Here in Taiwan we've got several chain convenient stores. Lately I noticed that fresh fruit has become available at 7-11s island wide. They've begun selling apples (pre-washed, packed, undiced), cherry tomatoes (pre-washed, packed), guava (pre-washed, packed, chopped) and even bananas (packed). I think this is great news. Finally we don't have to turn to other snacks when it's the time of the day for a light meal. Fruit is much better than so many other things.

Cool, Lake.

our 7-11 give us that option to. At least some apples and Bananas. EXPENSIVE!! but at least available.

I always bring an apple, where ever I go. Especiallly since I quit smokeing.

Hi Bluemoon and Naiad

Thanks Naiad I still feel kind of awkard about my past wild days

Bluemoon,

Yeah I think it's a bit expensive, but prices/living expenses in Taiwan are usually lower than the States or the UK (US$1= apprx. NT$33), so even though they charge NT$25 for two tiny apples, I still love it and think this is just great. So cool. I love fruit.

wow i love fruit too! i think it is the healthiest of all food. especially organic. i need to incorporate more of it into my lifestyle though....i used to eat almost exclusively fruit, and i was very physically healthy at that time. now i have difficulty eating even a few pieces of fruit a day.

well thank you for your posititve vibes about fruit!
