Magical TeasBlend the teas for a recipe in a plastic baggy or a glass jar, then measure out one tablespoon per cup of tea. A small two cup teapot will take two tablespoons of tea. If you are like me, however, two cups of tea equates to three because I prefer my tea with lots of milk. because the tea base is black tea leaves, the addition of milk and a sweetener makes for a very flavorful beverage. Unless you are making tea for a crowd, you really do not need more than one or two tablespoons of tea at any one time. Store in a closed jar in a cabinet away from light. TEA FOR DIVINATION: 1 tablespoon China black, English breakfast, or Irish breakfast tea 2 teaspoons lemon balm 1 teaspoon eyebright 1 tablespoon mugwort 1 tablespoon rose hips
TEA FOR PSYCHIC HEALING: 1 tablespoon China black tea 1 teaspoon elder flower 1 teaspoon nettle 2 teaspoon burdock root 2 teaspoon mullein 2 teaspoon rose hip
TEA FOR LOVE (SPELL): 1 tablespoon China black tea 1 teaspoon damiana 1 teaspoon raspberry leaves 2 teaspoon chamomile 2 teaspoon mullein 2 teaspoon rose hips
TEA FOR MEDITATION: 1 tablespoon China black or English breakfast tea 2 teaspoon chamomile 1 teaspoon rose hips 2 teaspoon elder flower
TEA FOR PURIFICATION: 1 tablespoon China black tea 2 teaspoon fennel 1 teaspoon valerian 1 teaspoon chamomile 2 teaspoon hyssop
TEA FOR RELAXATION: 1 tablespoon English breakfast tea 1 teaspoon elder flower 2 teaspoon rose hips 1 teaspoon chamomile 2 teaspoon hops 1 teaspoon valerian
TEA FOR HEALTH (SPELLS): 1 tablespoon China black tea 2 teaspoon fennel 1 teaspoon mint 2 teaspoon rose hips 1 teaspoon elder flower 2 teaspoon hops 1 teaspoon mullein 1 teaspoon white oak
TEA FOR PROTECTION: 1 tablespoon Irish or English breakfast tea 2 teaspoon elder flower 1 teaspoon linden flower 1 teaspoon valerian 2 teaspoon burdock root 1 teaspoon comfrey 1 teaspoon hyssop 2 teaspoon rose hips
Besides magical teas, there are combinations that are simply a pleasant way to reconnect with the earth devas, the Goddess and the God. For this type of quiet closeness to nature, you might want to try these taste combinations of herbal teas: ***English breakfast, rose hips, and hyssop ***Linden flower and chamomile ***China black, chamomile, and rose hips ***English breakfast, dandelion root, rose hips, and chamomile ***English breakfast, elder flower, hops, and rose hips Source: My Friend Edward ------------------ Sendin' love your way, "your friend in spirit" IP: Logged |

YFIS ~Thanks for the "recipes"!! I'm just beginning to experiment with herbal tea healing-ingredients, and since I do not have a lovely Friend Edward , I'm a bit reluctant to measure without a guide. Can you recommend a book that lists the quantities to be used for the different herbs?? Thanks 1,000,000, Z PS: Love the teaball "necklace and bracelet" set IP: Logged |

I am so getting into this! Keep my vibration elevated as I prepare for round two of my Saturn return! I finally made matcha smoothies. I have also been making my home more zen by chai blend essential oils in my diffuser, fragrance warmer and rubbing it on my unscented candles before burning. I love when I can find myself a lavender ice tea at the store. I read that lavender is good for purification. IP: Logged |

I went on a tea spree at Whole Foods yesterday! I went to town in the beverage section. I have been dealing with digestion issues left and right. According to my mom's 23andme genetically we are more prone to celiac.(sp?)I love medicinal ice teas! I thought I would highlight my Chamomile ice tea purchase. In general chamomile is good before bedtime, helps with digestion, calm the nerves. It makes my eyelids heavy at night. I woke up at a decent time(7:30ish am) the day after while still having chilled out nerves. Chamomile In Feng Shui: East "The east is the health luck sector. Several herbs have specific properties just for health." and one of them is Chamomile "This herb will draw money luck to you. Chamomile tea a good option for body feng shui." http://feng-shui.lovetoknow.com/feng-shui-tips/herbs-good-luck OMG what's going on in the East in my apartment!? It's been one thing after another. Which is frustrating because for a Midwestern American, I eat pretty damn healthy. I ate salads for days, and somehow I got constipated. WTH!? Constipated to the point of hemorrhoids for weeks even with taking stool softener pills. Well now that that is over I am now experiencing a vaginal burn from a body wash product I am using. Why is nothing I do good enough!? I am seriously ready to clean attack this place. The money luck is a nice bonus too witch Chamomile, while my main focus is to just be healthy comfortable and a body that functions. XD Chamomile in the Occult "It is used in spells for money, peace, love, tranquility, and purification." "An infusion used to wash thresholds (doors and windows) will help keep unwanted energies or entities from passing through. Sprinkle powdered chamomile flowers around your self or home to remove spells cast against you and to prevent fires and lightning strikes. You may also use herbal water if you prefer." Use it in a ritual bath before performing spells for any of these purposes. Just a simple chamomile bath while visualizing will increase your attractiveness to the opposite sex. Also, use it in a bath as part of a spell to release a loved one, or to release feelings of pain, loss or anger." Washing your hands in chamomile water before gambling will increase your luck. "Add to sachets for luck or money. Or place pressed chamomile flowers in your wallet to attract money to it." It helps cleanse and invigorate the throat chakra (5th). " http://witchipedia.com/book-of-shadows/herblore/chamomile/ This is also part of why I like using natural cleaning products what could have EO's in them. I have the Aura Cassia Chill Pill EO that has Chamomile in the blend. I added it to my homemade sanitation spray that I will call Hippy Lysol. I'm not saying someone's life doesn't suck more than mine, but I have been feeling so way too tried and at my wits end. I added the blend to my spray and just sprayed it all around my apartment. Another reason I prefer natural body care. The bath and body care set that did this to me I'll spill the beans Amazing Grace Body Wash and Scrub. I would never buy it on myself but it was a gift, and I figure it's frugal to use something I got for free.

I know that guidebooks are often over cautious when it comes to potential side effects, but everything I’ve read about herbal medicine warns against using comfrey internally. Evidence to the contrary?IP: Logged |

I've been drinking some sort of lavender beverage lately. It happens to have saffron in it. I've been having my lavender beverage to be less bothered by my neighbors at night and to boost my immune system. IP: Logged |

Jasmine"Jasmine is a common ingredient in green and black tea in China. It’s quite a process to infuse the tea with jasmine. The flowers are picked before they open and then placed in a temperature-controlled room with the tea." I bought an iced tea at Wole Foods! "The magickal properties of jasmine are varied, ranging from love to happiness to moon magick. It’s often used to strengthen or find spiritual love. Jasmine also has some medicinal benefits, which range from easing menstrual cramps and symptoms of menopause to helping relieve anxiety to helping skin conditions among others. Peppermint tea has been a long time favorite. Relief in mensuration and good for productivity. Helpful for someone who quits smoking ciggs. I believe this one is known for purification in the occult. IP: Logged |

Ginger: " It is used in spells to “speed things up” or to cause plans to come to fruition quickly. It can also be used in spells to add passion to an existing relationship." -WitchipediaTurmeric: "Some swear by wearing Turmeric in a charm for good health and protection. For protective purposes in a ritual circle, Turmeric is sometimes sprinkled within its boundaries. In Hawaii, Turmeric is mixed with salt and water, then sprinkled in the area wanting purification such as a sick room or even a ritual circle." -From the Wortcunner's Cabin I picked brewing ginger at a good time. I have a lot to do. IP: Logged |

I brewed my own ice tea last night. It's a combo of lavender and chamomile. Good remedy for any rough Uranus transits. The tea bags had proverbs and inspirational note on them...I felt like those intentions went into my tea. IP: Logged |
