Has anyone any experience of this please? My mother in law, Kate, suffers dreadfully with rheumatoid arthritis. We got her a reiki session when she visited us and she found it really beneficial but she is so infirm now that it's increasingly impossible for her to get out. What complicates matters is that she feels unable to talk about esoteric stuff like this with her husband. It's not that he's against it (he bought me a crystal bracelet at the reiki session). My partner's theory is that she feels undeserving of any healing at all and that to focus resources on herself is a source of guilt. So we thought reiki by distance as a gift? A one off, or a course? I'm not sure if the reiki practitioner she had down here does it by distance. Would it matter that she may not meet the reiki person first? Any feedback gratefully appreciated. IP: Logged |

Distant reiki is amazing! I have received reiki from people at the http://www.sharereiki.org website. The person receiving reiki needs to give their permission to be sent it (otherwise it's not ethical). Good luck!IP: Logged |
