I have recently been looking into how these may be able to ease depression and other related health problems. I was wondering whether anybody would be able to offer any advice on which may be the best to take. I have heard that the essential fatty acids in flaxseed and other vegetarian oils are more difficult for some people's bodies to convert than in fish oil.

If anyone knows any more regarding this subject, their input would be appreciated. Thank you.

LTT I think the best oil you can take is a mixture called UDO'S oil (you can buy it on internet)
It has the perfect blend of all the Omegas 3,6,9 so that you are getting them in the correct ratio. This is important. It is an excellent product.
Have you tried Rhodiola or St John's Wort for your depression?
Both excellent but SJW cannot be taken with certain prescription drugs e.g statins so check first.

I didn't notice much with St John's Wort.

That oil sounds interesting.

Hemp oil is meant to be similar, isn't it?

I just remember reading that not all people's bodies can effectively convert the Omegas (from vegetarian sources) into DHA, or something......

Hemp is good but if my memory serves me, its ratio of one of the omegas is out, whereas the Udo oil is perfectly balanced.
Body builders swear by it.
Be not alarmed LTT! But believe me when I say what body builders don't know about their bodies and supplements aint worth knowing.
They leave doctors in the shade!!
St Johns does take about 3 months to work but it's not a "Gosh I feel so different" type herb.
What you will notice though is the fact that nothing has stressed you out as much.It enables you to deal with life as it is, not in a false happiness type way.
I don't think you will have a reaction to the Udo. Let me know how you get on.

Thanks for your suggestion of Udo's Oil, bunnies
I'm running out of fish oil and flaxseed oil caps, and it's time to try something new I've seen Udo's recommended before.....

Salmon oil is pretty fab Zala.
It gives you firm plump cheeks....in a few days....yes!!
If I am going somewhere special
, a few days beforehand I partake of the old salmon oil and voila! I am a chubby cheeked cherub....well I notice the difference anyway!
