Hello, I wanted to ask the ladies out there who have had tramautic and/or difficult labours what sign the moon was in when it happened? I had a very traumatic experience almost 2 years ago that has (literally) scarred me for life (emergency C section). I was really prepared to have a natural waterbirth but after 36hrs and major complications I had to have an emergency C section. The moon was in Scorpio, and based on Linda's mention in Star Signs about Hippocrate's rule (avoid surgery on the area of the body that the moon is in at that time), the fact that I couldnt avoid the surgery, and that I had a really horrible prolonged recovery time makes sense to me. Anyone else experienced this? Or likewise, if you had a nice and easy labour what sign was the moon in? I find it all very fascinating. My mom is a maternity nurse and dreads going to work on a full moon because so many babies are born and her ward is chaotic!

I'm sorry you had a painful experience. I don't have children yet but my mother said her first childbirth was easy (that was when she gave birth to me, Moon was in Libra, an easy, nice natural birth). She gave birth to my sister by C-section, but it was a planned one, not an emergency. My sister has a Sag Moon. I know someone who was born by C-section because of his mother's disability, and he has a Scorpio moon. It was a difficult birth. IP: Logged |

I didn't dilate enough and the delivery doctors decided this could be causing trauma to my son, so I had a C-section.The Moon was in Leo. IP: Logged |

I was delivered by C-section and was premature. My Mum was sick from start to finish of the pregnancy and nearly lost me too many times..also im one of five and the last, she never had promlems like this with the others... I'm lucky to be here. She told me the doctors always said i was strong and a surviver.Moon 9'6 in Scorpio and also conjuncts Pluto 9'51 Scorpio when i was born. Judy Hall also talks about Moon-Pluto aspects and how it relates to "difficulty in being born and in giving birth", so you might want to look at aspects between moon and pluto at the time. I have what Judy Hall calls a "double Hades Moon" as Pluto is in it's home sign and also the conjunction is on a critical degree. I'm actually reading her book atm "Hades Moon" deep stuff. I hope this gives you an idea ------------------ Sun:Aquarius 11H Moon:Scorpio 7H Mercury:Aquarius 11H Venus:Sagittarius 8H Mars:Aries 12H Jupiter:Pisces 12H Saturn:Sagittarius 8H Uranus:Sagittarius 9H Neptune:Capricorn 9H Pluto:Scorpio 7H AC:Aries MC:Capricorn T.Node:Aries 12H IP: Logged |
