I am making my first proper post a serious one!

A brief history: http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=33348

I have a similar post to this one on the David Icke forum so sorry if you are a member there too.

So since my hospital discharge one of the sites where I had surgery has become sore - it's not major - to give an idea of the dimensions I'd guess that a peanut M&M would fit snuggly inside the wound. I found out, after it not healing, that I have MRSA.

As a result I have purchased tea tree oil, active Manuka honey and oil of oregano. I have some questions regarding their uses:

1) I have bought 250ml unfragranced liquid soap to which I am going to add 10ml tea tree oil. I read that this will make a therapeutic grade antiseptic body wash. Does this sound right?

2) Oil of oregano (30ml) is on it's way to me. Considering the nature of my problem, how do I take this?

3) Is it safe to put tea tree oil onto broken skin without diluting it?

4) As of tomorrow I want to start a regime. Are all of the mentioned products safe to use together? I also currently take high dose vitamin C (with grapeseed extract, bilberry powder and magnesium) and vitamin E.

I think that is all. I am quite worried about this and it's put my life on hold literally overnight. I want to be healed up as quickly as possible with minimal medical intervention.

Thanks for reading, all advice appreciated

Just got over a staph infection. I was so scared of MRSA. It took me a long time to get well so see your doctor and follow up. Hygeine is most important. Wash your hands, your clothes etc. anything that touches the wound/sore. Keep it bandaged at all times. It takes time but it requires some 24/7 dilligence to get well.

You'll be fine. It's just a 24/7 problem that does go away!!! Don't mean to be negative, but it's truly worth watching 24/7 to get well.

Hydrogen peroxide, Neosporin, wash everything in HOT water. The clothes you wear, your sheets, linens, towels etc. It you touch it, basically BURN IT.

Takes about a month.

I'm a skin care speacialist so that's what I do.

Thanks Well, the problem is that I am not home yet, I went from hospital to what is essentially an old people's home (because I need an accessible property and there is a lack thereof). I am not allowed to wash my own clothes or even cook my own meals because of health and safety policies. Obviously they aren't used to people who are young and don't need help (rather a roof!). Therefore it's all about compromise but I can see this being spread about... although they put my laundry in a red bag they don't wear gloves etc! Or they do half of the time. I need to speak to the lady in charge because something needs to change. I have been going crazy with alcohol gel, washing every surface with it. Whether this is effective I don't know. What about the room I am in, is there anything I can do for it? They have a little cleaning service going on here but they don't come in when I am in the room... it's not been vacuumed for over a week now. I don't want it being spread about anyway so better if I can clean what I can myself - what is best to use?

I'm sorry to hear you've got MRSA
Here's a page with some other natural remedies:

Tea tree oil is an excellent antiseptic -- I use Cuticura's castile soap (with the melaleuca oil in it) in the shower every day.....
