People usually do not realize that sinus trouble and neck, nerve damage can be associated with dental troubles. They can indeed affect each other as you know too well yourself.
The trigeminal nerve can be damaged by chronic infection too.
I wish you luck with your health too.
Thank you for the well wishes for my husband.
I need to have some work done on my sinus too.

buena36
Look into sinus and dental connections for your pain.
Also Mastoiditis can cause such pain.
So can TMJ Syndrome.
I hope you can find relief. You really need to get your sinus opened up as soon as possible.
Our sinus membranes process our oxygen too, not just our lungs.

I just happened to walk past a Hearing Unit yesterday, so I stopped to have a hearing test.

My results are good!!! I have good hearing!!! The woman gave me a really good tip on my ears (and sinus's). Try an antihistamine!!! So, I'm going to shop around for a mild antihistamine and trial a result!!!

Hi LEXX,

My sinusitis pains come from the right side of my right ear. There is one place, where the pain starts.

From there I have diagnosis:

1. Neuralgia occipital,
2. Enthesopatia levator scapula (enthesopatia means root of levator scapula)
3. Areal sclerosis 3 cm on the occipital.

It has begun in the Secondary school during driving with the train to the school. There is something either removed or damaged. I don't have pains in the head, like occipital is the cause, but my pains go into sinusitis, face, eyes and ears. It hearts a lot as is my sinusitis is stretched or spread out and makes terrible pressure into eyes and cheek bones. Strange here is, that my Adam's apple is also big, what I don't have in normal stage.
From sinusitis I have atypical trigeminal neuralgia.
With the pains the same time I have dark yellow urine.
When I wash my hair sometimes make more massage than normal. In that case have also more pains.
There on the place where root is for all, is close the Point for Muscle (by Acupuncture).

How to connect:
1. Sinusitis
2. Levator scapula
3. Trigeminal neuralgia
4. Occipital neuralgia
5. Subscapular neuralgia
6. Adam's apple?

Hi,

I think, it could be this Meridian.

I wish I knew of a way to help you.
I am not going to list all my ailments.
I have all you have plus.
Are you disabled too?
You mentioned "Adam's Apple".
Are you male?
Or do you have reverse Loridosis?
If your pains run all the way to your foot down the meridian, you may well have more wrong than just the head and neck areas.
How old are you?
Have you ever had a bad injury?
How is your blood sugar?
Has your kidney function been tested?
Any gout?
Are you Diabetic?

Hi LEXX,

I am female, but there where Adam’s apple is is some bone (or muscle?) as is pressed from somewhere, maybe from the neck vertebra? If I was male, then there would be always this bone or whatever it is.

I am not disabled, all I have are those problems with sinusitis, three neuralgia's and neck muscle's where EMG shows: all is ok. Enough to make my life to the hell!

I have shown this Meridian, because one part is going behind my right ear. It has nothing to do with my down part.

I have never had injury.

My kidney should be ok and I am not diabetic. I have only problems with my digestion (down there).

Buena

p.s. I have the same pains since very long time. The only one doctor was Neurologist in Germany who did help me with just one shot in the right side of the neck muscle. It was good from my 25th-30th year.

Buena, Zala made some excellent suggestions - amazing chart btw, Lexx! Very informative.

Also Buena, aside from a chiropractor could you see an osteopath? I've never seen a chiropractor but I have had a lot of osteopathic treatment.

26T and Zala - for my own problems I've started learning pilates... breathing correctly and doing pilates moves to strengthen my core and release tension from the areas that are giving me trouble. Within 24 hours of starting the stretches I've finally gotten some real relief! My osteopath says let's stop the osteopathic treatment for now and see what difference the pilates makes. With the aim of improving my alignment and strength in a way that I can maintain by myself. I'm amazed at how such tiny movements can make such a huge difference... working with my core muscles is so easy... wish I had discovered this sooner!

Breathing correctly should be natural but many folks do not breathe correctly.
Most breathe too shallow, and too fast.

Go find someone who does what's called Corporate massage. It only costs around $12 for 15 minutes (that's what I charge) and you don't have to remove any clothing, but may have to undo your bra so it's not in the way. There is no forcing or snapping bones and muscles around, just gentle manipulation. Drugs are useless as they only cover up the problem rather than fix it. You could try finding a chiro who has a MT in their office, too. Coupling it with stress relaxation techniques is highly recommended.

I have worked on people who have fibromyalgia, a pinched sciatica, slipped discs, lupus, in other words chronic pain, who will tell you massage therapy is the way to go.

Z~ I'm with ya, the CORE exercises and stability ball are truly fabulous!

Best of luck to you, buena!!

Buena!! That meridian pic is spooky for me to look at!!! They are all the points in my body that quiver, twitch, and tighten - right up to my left temple area!!!!

I have decided to take a mild anti-histamine regularly until I am able to get my major dental work done later this year. The sinus drain around my crowns could destroy some of the bone in my upper jaw, so I figure by controlling the sinus, it will slow down the bone break-down.

GemLover,

We have here only one osteopath and he is from Russia. I would like to go to him and finally find out, what is wrong with my nose mucus membrane and why is so dry and makes pressure into my eyes?
I took last night some balsam for sinusitis (from UK) and after that my mucus membrane became drier than before.

January 15th, 2009 I was again by doctor for thyroid (the very first time I was visiting him November 1989) and told him: I hope that you are my first and last doctor in this long year research to find the cause for my chronic sinusitis and chronic rhinitis.
He told me, that all that is not from thyroid but from the neck muscle. The only neck muscle I have diagnosis is:
Enthesopatia levator scapula ,(from C1-C4). Enthesopatia means start or root of the muscle. Just there behind right ear is one point, very painful.

I have also very bad head skin circulation (they call it: cerebral atrophy). When I look what is cerebral atrophy - brain cells dying, it has nothing to do with me.

Now I still don't know where is the root for all? Because I have three diagnosis from 1986

1. SINUSITIS MAXILL.CHR.CATH
2. RHINITIS CHR.HYPERTR. ET SICCA ANT. – This is the cause for my eyes pains, so told me my doctor, 10 years ago.
3. CATH.TUB.CHR.BILAT.

I don't know are my ear pains connected with the neck muscle or not? I know that sinusitis is connected with the neck.
Why dry mucus membrane all the time?

aquaspryt69,

About massage it was told me, I may not do that because my muscles are after more in tension. That is true!
Your price is lower than here.

Koiflower,

It is nice to look all those Meridians. I wish I would know more about that.

---Thank you all for kind comments!

Here is my "famous" muscle: levator scapula.
I have diagnosis: Enthesopatia levator scapula.

What to do with that muscle?

Can you get any Guifenesin for your dry mucus membranes?
Also this may be of interest you. http://www.fibromyalgiatreatment.com/Research.htm

The neck pain should respond to massage and chiropractic unless you have other complications....as I do.
Have you had your carotids checked?

Hi LEXX,

Thank you for all information.

I have been visiting Chiropractors for 6 years. My neck muscle is in tension and is not possible to do any massage.

What do you mean with carrots? Is that not yellow vegetable? I eat them, like a salad.

Buena

p.s. We should open here Medical Astrology as there is not on the right place. All people are healthy (it looks so) only we here are not.

"carotids".....http://www.medicinenet.com/carotid_artery_disease/article.htm

I agree, a medical forum would be good to have.

Buena - that muscle is the one I have the most trouble with, on the left shoulder. It responds to stretches that release the tension. Breathing correctly helps to release body tension also.

Ok this is sort of out of left field... but what about the Alexander Technique? I've heard that people get good results from this.

Hi LEXX,
Thank you for carotids. There must be something between neck and head. I have looked all glands, ganglions and I think that many years ago Neurologist gave me shot in GANGLION STELLATUM: for nose mucus membrane and trigeminal neuralgia (atypical).
About Medical Astrology:
I have started Topic by Astrology, but nobody cares (all have good health!).

Hi GemLover,

Thank you for advice. My pains are a bit different. Something is always in the right eye like needle; face is strange and swollen. I don't know, will I ever find the right cause. There are so many things in the neck and head.
Last time I have read about Occipital Neuralgia and it looks like I have that.

Kind regards to both,
Buena

Which thread?
I am very much into Tesla!
Have even considered changing my name to Tesla or adding to mine as a first or middle name.

Some but not all my troubles...

I have since had a few mini strokes and have facial palsy, periodic black blindness episodes, periodic partial paralysis, neurological dysfunction like MS (which they are still watching for because my aunt and sister have it)Osteoarthritis with hundreds of Osteophytes on entire spine and rib cage.
Reverse Loridosis(hunchback) Incapacitating IBS due to other neurological damage, no feeling in right thigh. I often require assistance dressing and bathing. If I must do stairs I generally crawl up and go down on my butt. I use a big shepherds cane (yes, a real shepherds hook)to walk. Sublaxations of entire spine. I have trouble in that very same region as Gem Lover - I thought it was a muscle called the Trapezium that caused me problems.

Gem Lover - are your hips uneven? Is your right hip higher than your left? Do you have problems with your left knee?

now this is not for everyone, it depends on your blood pressure and i am NOT recommending it to lexx. but i discovered by accident one day many years ago that jungle gyms/monkey bars (climbing frames as in playgrounds) are good for grownups too.

i had a frozen shoulder for about 8 months. it responded to yoga and massage, but only about 50%. one day at the playground with daughter decided to alleviate my boredom by hanging from my knees on the monkey bars. as it had been about 25 years since my last try, i made it for a very short time (30 secs?). we had an easy structure, you could walk up the outside and hang down inside it.

after 30 seconds of completely relaxing and letting gravity stretch me, i got down. the pain in my shoulder and lack of flexibility was so relieved that i had a lightbulb moment where i realized the culprit was a trapped nerve (this is before MRIs were common)...after TWO WEEKS of regular upside down hanging, the frozen shoulder was COMPLETELY healed. i have recommended monkey bars and inversion frames ever since!

louise hay is very good with affirmations to help alter your beliefs, specifically linked to each vertebra as per the chart lexx posted. this list is in her first LITTLE book which was called HEAL YOUR BODY and started her on the road to a publishing empire amongst other things!!

Jungle gyms/monkey bars or and chin up bar or
steep incline vertical bench are great!
So are the hanging bars, where you hang by your feet/ankles or knees/lower legs.
I hope to do that again when I get my weight down.
It works better than chiropractic or physical therapy tethered traction!

Not a fan of Ms Hayes though.
For psychosomatic illness or one's attitude, yeah, but I feel she is totally wrong in that thought causes illness. Yeah it can affect it, but not cause it.
