Jeff Meiring was severly depressed after the death of his adopted son, Ryan. In this interview we hear about the events that lead up to his decision to take his life and leave the pain behind him. It sounds a selfish act, Jeff admits, but circumstances had lead up to this for a reason, one that would not be totally revealed until the point of no return.
Jeff grew up in a small town where he felt like an outsider and vowed never to join the military. However, he found himself making the decision to sign up and spent 8 years on Medivac Helicopters and saw his fair share of action in the Gulf. Much later, he joined the Pentagon where his life as a strategist for the Air Force, dreaming up every possible worst case scenario he could imagine, something that contributed to his gloomy outlook on life at the time.

Moving to Phoenix to start a new life with his family of 7 children, tragedy struck at an exceptionally low point, when his 15 year olf son died in his arms. Looking for a miracle he came across Lee Gerdes and Brain State Technologies through this site and through a series of coincidental events, put his life back together. You see him here less than a month after the day he was due to take his life and he tells the story with candor, grace and an inner peace that is tangible.
