thanks for that sunchild. great vid. it is time we all recognize our healing abilities. but first heal thyself...?

my chiron is in the 10th at the apex of a t-square between merc and moon..is it any wonder i have been doing massage most of my life? i believe it also comes into my astrological work which is fairly sporadic but always involves healing "issues"...

and when i was in music about 50% of my ambition came from wanting to open new doors for other lady musicians. i often think that is why i retired, i did my job and now i can see the results everywhere!

thanks for this, SunChild

i like the Tagore quote at 4:40

i relate to Chiron a great deal

the other night, i met a girl at a party who was very wounded and self-destructive. She would make some desperate joke about how much she hated herself and then throw back another swig of whatever she was drinking. my heart went out to this girl and i was talking with her for a while, and i could tell she was very receptive to my empathy and compassion, not just to the attention. At one point it was too much for me, it was really tearing at me and i couldnt stop crying and i had to stop talking with her for a while. The others there just told me "she's fine, she's fine", "don't pay any attention to what she says," and stuff... but i knew she wasnt fine and i wished i could say or do something to offer real help. I told this to my therapist and she agreed with me -- she said, "The girl is not fine. Ask the empath in the room." My therapist (or therapriestess, as I call her; because she's also a Wiccan Priestess) has long ago decided that I am an empath and that most of my struggles come from absorbing the pains and conflicts of others (often, which they are not even consciously aware of). I find this to be the case; that I am constantly taking on the feelings of those around me, and I often find it difficult to distinguish between my own feelings and those of others (Pisces South Node, and ruler, Neptune, in the 12th, in hard aspect to the Moon). Anyway, this girl felt my sincerity. She told me she was a Gemini and her father had been a sailor who wasnt around much, and I guessed that she had Sun-op-Neptune (which it turns out she does) and told her a little about this aspect. Its always weird for me at parties. I must have made an individual connection with almost everyone there. We'd talk about some serious personal issue and we'd be getting somewhere, and then they would laugh nervously, break off, and say, "Man, this is a party, I gotta get back to the crowd, but thanks, this was interesting talking to you.. I dont usually ever talk about this stuff." And then its back to the party, to drink and laugh and carry on half-heard conversations. This happens everywhere, not just parties. Like life itself is some loud party everyone has to get back to...

I have Chiron in close,
dynamic aspect to Jupiter

Chiron also
Squares my Moon,
Oppositions my Sun,
Trines my Saturn,
and is the only "planet"
occupying one half of my chart
(so, if you count Chiron,
that makes it the handle on
a Bucket configuration, where,
otherwise, i'd have a Bowl)

I like the theory that Chiron
rules a process that spans from
Virgo to Sagittarius

Valus, you need a light-hearted Sag to take your pains away.
And yes, I believe you are an empath too.

Chiron is so Sag! We wear our brightly colored clown faces that cover all our sorrows and pains and the only way we receive redemption is when we make others laugh.

Well, maybe that's a bit of a blanket statement (yes, we Saggies tend to exaggerate ) I also have Moon opposing Chiron in my chart. So maybe Chiron and I have a complicated relationship that doesn't apply to other Saggies. LOL.

Hi Aka, I have Chiron conjunct moon (and also selena the white moon)too, in my 6th house Taurus, as the apex planet in a yod. The relationship with my mother had profoundly disasterous effects on my psyche. I feel it's part of my destiny to use this wound to help heal others. I'm curious how your Chiron/moon affecting your life? Any childhood abuse?
