Back home we used to go fill up bottles and jugs with spring water and drink it instead of tap and bottled water. My memories are that there is nothing like spring water to really quench your thirst.Following a link posted by SunChild (Thanks, SunChild!), I found a site with a US water springs map. www.findaspring.com You can enter your own spring if it's not on the map. How cool! This video was hilarious! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WANSN0Xzc3Y IP: Logged |

yin we had a well at most of the houses i lived in as a kid. the water was not on mains and i remember it would come out of the bath tap brown (iron content) until you'd run it awhile. we would drink straight out of the tap, or better still, straight out of the brook that ran in the woods behind the house...delicious!thanks for the link!!
