for what it's worth, T, i have heard that it is only when the tick has filled itself and DISGORGED - which injects saliva or some such substance into the victim - that lyme disease ensues...which explains why so many victims never know what made them sick...i have two friends who went through longrunning healing from lyme disease. the first was originally misdiagnosed until one side of her face became paralysed and the doctor revised his opinion. the other, i believe used mostly natural remedies but she is in sweden so i can't ask her advice right now!! both are fine but it was several years return to health. all the best...and hope the results come back negative. whatever treatment one uses it seems lyme disease is no picnic. i doubt where you are it could be rocky mountain tic fever, though with airplanes etc these days you never know. it is good that he knows what bit him...did he save it for the forensics folks??IP: Logged |
