Dear Ab When I read LEXX's post about endometreosis, I think it is something related to this, maybe not this exactly but I don't feel it is the bowel ,per se, or if it is ---it is minor.. I do not see colon cancer--at all. Ami ------------------ It is either a lesson or a blessing. IP: Logged |

Still here. The police have been called, and also the local matriarch has been visited, and promptly emailed the whole neighborhood. One person in the neighborhood actually works for UPS as a driver, so I think this guy is out of luck now...I've got to get some promoting done, and then I'll be back later. ConsiderationsBlood in the stool may come from anywhere along your digestive tract, from mouth to anus. It may be present in such small amounts that you cannot actually see it, but it is only detectable by a fecal occult blood test. {note; the fecal painting card) When there IS enough blood to change the appearance of your stools, the doctor will want to know the exact color to help find the site of bleeding. To make a diagnosis, your doctor may use endoscopy or special x-ray studies. A black stool usually means that the blood is coming from the upper part of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. This includes the esophagus, stomach, and the first part of the small intestine. Blood will typically look like tar after it has been exposed to the body's digestive juices. Stomach ulcers or inflammation caused by ibuprofen, naproxen, or aspirin are common causes of upper GI bleeding. Maroon-colored stools or bright red blood usually suggests that the blood is coming from the lower part of the GI tract (large bowel, rectum, or anus). Hemorrhoids and diverticulosis (an abnormal pouch in the colon) are the most common causes of lower GI bleeding. Abnormal collections of blood vessels called arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) and tumors in the intestine may also cause lower GI bleeding. However, sometimes massive or rapid bleeding in the stomach causes bright red stools. Consuming black licorice, lead, iron pills, bismuth medicines like Pepto-Bismol, or blueberries can also cause black stools. Beets and tomatoes can sometimes make stools appear reddish. In these cases, your doctor can test the stool with a chemical to rule out the presence of blood. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003130.htm IP: Logged |

not to make light, abs, but i am thinking you are going to find hemorrhoids, so very common in moms - actually most people have SOME hemmorhoid action, though often we don't notice it. that fake UPS guy was probably just casing the neighbourhood to see how many people were at home during the day...and the fact that he found you would be a good thing in that case! you know this all kind of sounds like your early cappy stuff being hit by pluto, saturn and uranus...and if it is uncovering something hidden(pluto) that needs to be dealt with (saturn) that will probably also be for the good....still, sending thoughts of perfect health your way!! I have endometriosis. I never heard of it causing blood in stool though. I am thinking of you!! It's a GOOD thing to have all these tests done and have it cleared up.

Mine does. quote: One other explanation for patients with pain in endometriosis is the involvement of other organs, such as the rectum or colon. Bleeding of the endometriosis around or in the muscle wall of the colon and rectum again causes expansion of this area and associated pain. This causes pressure and some sense of urgency for bowel movements during the menstrual period in some patients, especially if the disease is more extensive and is getting into the lumen of the bowel. It can also cause bloody stools during or prior to menstruation.
And may be the cause of some of my mini strokes, as microscopic endometrial tissue can migrate to the brain. It is called Cerebellar Endometriosis.IP: Logged |

Ami Ann I am only pointing it out as a remote possibility. Personally I am thinking hemorrhoids, or benign polyps.... or something consumed that appears blood like. I sincerely hope it is not anything serious for ABS. MoonWitch... Probably not. I think mine is because of abdominal and pelvic injuries, and surgical procedures, any/all of which can cause such abnormal migrations of endometrial tissue. IP: Logged |

Finished my art project, and will get it to the clinic OH JOY. Seriously, that was the most gross thing I have ever had to do in my entire life!Feeling pretty good, and very glad I can eat meat again...I know I'm a horrible person. I like eating meat, it's tasty, and because of my body type, according to my TCM practitioner, I NEED to eat it, or else I get run down. I have my fasting blood labs on Wed. Morning, and then the Wed. after that, I have my complete physical. I'm also going to have her do a pap smear, because it was about this age when my mom started having bad ones and ended up with a complete hysterectomy in her early 40's. Her mom died of uterine cancer, so I need to keep on top of this. How's everyone else feeling? Unmoved? LEXX? AmiAnn? Anyone else who posted here, and asked about me? How are you all? My perfume's reached the latest reviewer, so we'll find out what she thinks in a couple of days...or a week. There were 18 vials, I don't want her doing a Suicide perfume. Anybody remember suicide sodas? Where you put a little of each kind in your cup? I think I just dated myself there. Mixed up a new scent this afternoon, after coming back from the PO. Of to do my mod duties... Huggies, ADfly ------------------ We justify ourselves each time we take a breath... Me IP: Logged |

What was your paint project? I had to do one but it was a smaller than a playing card size thing which only required a few dots and smears not anything very gross at all. So curious on what they had you do. Do they need a full page and a full feces or what now-a-days? LOL! Baby diapers, now those can be super gross! And some periods too. The sputum test for TB is another fun one. They make you cough and spit until you get at least 4 ounces of snotty phlegm mucus in a big vial to send back. Bleccch! IP: Logged |

Naw it was the card thingy, it was just you had to smear it around, it said on the directions. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My test results came back yesterday. Everything was negative, including a pregnancy test.
Just a glitch I guess...maybe it's stress from working so hard. Thanks for thinking of me everyone! ------------------ We justify ourselves each time we take a breath... Me IP: Logged |
