listenstotrees - am not terribly familiar with that part of history so had to do a quick search on hashashin... it's certainly interesting, more so if the drug in fact used was hashish... i think it becomes somewhat problematic to say with any certainty - who knows exactly what word Polo used, and did it describe the same cannabis derivative? perhaps it was a stronger opiate that was used? you'll have to fill me in on more details if you don't mind - you have piqued my curiousity IP: Logged |

Would you share a little about that, SunChild? IP: Logged |

Emitres, I don't know much about the subject myself, just when I first heard about it (in a Stewart Swerdlow talk I saw online), it did make me wonder about cannabis, plus when I've smoked it, it has made me feel panicky....I like to feel that I am in control at all times, not in a state of vulnerability.IP: Logged |

it certainly can produce a variety of effects although, to be honest, i have personally never known anyone that experienced a negative response like yours... what a horrible feeling that must have been... do you attribute it solely to the effect of the drug - it brought on the feeling of vulnerablity - or did it contribute and enhance a state that was already there? ------------------ “Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see.” B.Franklin IP: Logged |

Harmless. But I wouldn't recommend it to highly sensitive people (unless you are home its great for visualization) I also would recommend aquas to moderate the amount. Personally if I have enough THC in my system I hallucinate.IP: Logged |

The thing is that a lot of highly sensitive people use marijuana High sensitivity runs in family, and so does marijuana use
I went to an Highly Sensitive Person seminiar based on Elaine Aron's book, The Highly Sensitive Person back in 1999. The speaker said that marijuana is the drug of choice for highly sensitive people.

did the speaker give indication as to why that is? ------------------ “Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see.” B.Franklin IP: Logged |
