Hi All,Not sure if this is place to post such a topic but I wondered if any of you have any theories on what happens to a Womans energy during Mensturation. For me, I find that I'm a lot more tired and more inclined to hybernate on my bed. This cycle especially as I have other burdens going on in my life at the moment. Anyone have any input on this and how to manage a "drainage" of energy on the soul? ------------------ Sara Cancer Sun. Capricorn Rising. Leo Moon. Hello lithia,Weakness during menstruation is usually caused by dehydration, due to the loss of fluid and blood that occur during your period. This is probably not worrisome, though. The best way to counteract menstrual-linked weakness is to drink plenty of fluids, especially those containing electrolytes, such as Gatorade, Powerade, or other sports drinks. Water is also a good way to stay hydrated during your period. In addition, be sure to eat healthfully. I too have the same drained out feeling and feel extremely weak during those days. I think mild menstrual cramps and weakness is a normal cycle. IP: Logged |

It's an iron deficiency. Eat liver, medium rare steak, or take a supplement. But don't take ferrous sulfate, because it is basically just rust.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you."
