One thing i found amazing from my first session is that, it is true, it is relaxing, and it helps you find peace. The lady told me dead ancestry is around, and i felt it.

Now what is even more wow, is she said things will come up and to face them. I expected it to be inner emotional. Instead when i left, this woman who has done nothing but negativity all her life towards me, seemed to be channeling an inner vortex black hole of some sort that day, and kind of tried to stir the pot much more than she ever did within the last year or so.

I don't know, given how intense and soothing my Reiki session was that morning, it was one of the first times i didn't react at all to those thins. If anything for once i did the silent treatment, and it seemed to 'scare' if that is the right word here i am not sure...the daylight out of that woman, and by the end of the day she herself was trying to validate why she did what she did that morning. As in she knew she was wrong, and was trying to make me less angry at her.

So yes it does change somethings, the energies are more centered after a session, so you don't do the same troublesome behavioural patterns you do in the past. (ie you stop reacting to trouble, and in doing so, you aren't flaming the fans anymore. so it sets itself out all by itself)

My own experience with energy work is direct experience of how the world around us IS us...ie, especially right after a session the stresses usually present in my immediate environment morph and often disappear completely. Like my whiney friends suddenly being light and optimistic...

And then the effect you witnessed is also something I've experienced. People continuing to be themselves but seeing their own behaviour in a different light because your energetic interchange doesn't give them the feedback they're used to

yip totally agree with you. i'll be honest, i have no problem at all going to psychologists as i think it is a very healthy thing to do....if they are well qualified!

I'll also check the paid guy, most people into Reiki barter, i 'paid' this woman i went to, with a few readings, and analysis of some sort, so that was great, if not still worth checking out all what is there if it is for free lol

so glad that you keep coming to this forum as your energy is so positive it can knock out any negativity out in a second!! 'secret reiki santa?'

also funny story whenever i'm feeling positive and happy (so 42's all over today and was having a good day) someone always tries to 'weasel themselves' into my life to knock it off, and without validation (if not for the weird voices in their head)

but somehow now as soon as i read this i felt better again....a post from mirage and seeing 42, and positive life adjustments!! what could be better...oh i know some positively happy reike fireworks to, thank you for the links my dear mirage!
