Hi all,

I was not sure if this board is appropriate, but perhaps my Q would fit? sorry in advance if it doesn't

Anyway, I've been watching my peers fading and it always starts with skin around the eyes, so I have been realising I might need to take some precautions or other not to go down that road.

What home made masks do you use? I'm esp interested in oriental recipes, mid-european i know more or less

thanks very much in advance

Eh I'm a bit late but yah I hope I can help a bit.

The women in my family like natural oils - mainly coconut oil and camellia oil. These oils are good for skin and hair, they claim that camellia oil is especially good for the eye area. They also use rice powder paste (just rice powder mixed with water) as a face mask. Or milk - apply plain milk to the face or mix it into lotion - it works but makes the skin more sensitive to sunlight.

And they also claim that eating a lot of fish and leafy greens help. In summer, eating boiled bitter melons, or drinking the juice serves as a natural detox n helps to "cool" the body down.

Cucumbers feel oh, so nice...

My daughters love herbal steambaths as well. Not precisely a mask, but you come out of it feeling oh, so refreshed. I like to use cleavers and that sort, purifier herbs, with Calendula and a nice touch of Lavendar/Rose Petal.

You can make any sort of blend and it is oh so easy!

Herbs in a pot, towel around the head.

Oh, I make natural face creams out of Calendula oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter and Beeswax.

Here is a Thread about the Herbally Infused Oils: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum9/HTML/001039.html

Also, I once heard you inquire as to the Teachings of Eliphas Levi. You may be interested in this, I don't know:
