I just learned about this from a video about Pisces moons; the astrologer said we need to clear our energy every single day, and epsom salts can do it.Never heard that before! More info here: http://www.highlysensitivesouls.com/epsom.htm

Epsom salts are healthy and feel good but they are not exactly to be used for clearing energy.. They are wonderful as a physical treatment though. - for clearing energy you would want to use sea salt, not Epsom salts and not Himalayan salt or any land-mountain saltt, it must be from the sea. And you must rinse off all salt after before stepping out of tub. Epsom salts are pure minerals, but not salt. I'm sure there are many ideas about what works, but I've been taught this, that sea salt protects and clears negative energies, and find it true from personal experience. I've also added Quartz Chrystal's to a salt bath and this amplifies the clearing. Pure salt from the sea has amazing protective and purifying qualities. You can sprinkle it for clearings, arrange a thread of salt in a ring with absolutely no breaks - a solid thread - and sit or stand inside that ring for protection and clearing of energies. This is wonderful for those who are feeling like their energy is a bit off and may be attributed to negative energies "attacking" from outside themselves. Try both and see which works for you. Everyone is individual and may align differently. As a side note, I always use Epsom salts in my bath (keeping that company in business) because I love them so much, but when I need to purify or release negative energies I use pure sea salt because it works for me. Oh, and as an addendum for the sea salt clearing, the proportions matter. Don't just sprinkle in a spoonful or two. You have to dump in cups worth. the more the better. Same for Epsom salts tooIP: Logged |

I may try this when I start back at work. I always feel run down, not just physically but mentally and emotionally, after work. I'll try anything, at this point.Edit: Not a Pisces Moon, but a very sensitive 4th house Moon/Mars. IP: Logged |

A quick chemistry lesson for you . Salts are minerals. Sea salt is Sodium Chloride, Epsom Salt is Magnesium Sulphate. However, Magnesium Suplhate or Epsom Salts is an inorganic salt (chemical compound) containing magnesium, sulfur and oxygen, with the formula MgSO4. Not pure in natural sense at all. So in this respect Epsom salts are not minerals as they are not a naturally occurring chemical compound. The best organic magnesium salt is magnesium chloride. Best source is mined in North Sea basin, check Zechsal website. It is natural and therefore best absorbed by human body. http://www.zechsalmagnesium.com/ @Faith I suppose if we agree that salt in general has been used since eons for clearings and for keeping the 'witches' away etc then logically it does not matter if you use the magnesium salt or sodium salt. But, I heard from some people ( white magic ) that for clearings you should only use salt from underground mines, so called rock salt, something to do with Earth energy. Maybe it would be worthwhile to research this a bit more. It is popular in europe in many SPA places to have a Salt Relaxation room, the entire room is laid with rock salt crystals and it helps people with lung diseases, circulation problems, asthma, rheumatic problems etc whilst I think it generally balances the energy:-) Nevertheless, I bathe with Magnesium salts from Zechsal. Your body's Magnesium levels are kept in balance this way and therefore you avoid using oral supplements (non organic). Medicinal Uses : - relaxes muscles, especially after intense workouts - you skin is smooth, and has good hydration balance - remedy for muscle cramps - remedy for insomnia, as this one is caused by magnesium deficiency - helps to keep weight in balance - for pain management and relief from headaches I'm sure there's more benefits, these are what I keep in mind. I'm a Pisces Venus w/ ruling planet Mercury Taurus house 12. I love baths! I am about to get in an epsom salt bath with lavender buds and carnelian rock. Epsom salt is good for feet problems. Pisces rules the feet. Also I am going to start going my husband's therapy sessions soon. IP: Logged |
