The key to staying well is avoiding humanity!
That's cute!
Not just supplements, and teas--
also utilize Prevention with Sanitation.
And, stress management and RESTing the body.
* Exposure to germs...
A really important part of staying well is to also remember to 'clean up' after you've been around humanity's public places.
Wash your hands, and your face.
Try not to touch your face, your eyes, area around your nostrils while in a germ-intensive area.
Use handcreams, etc., to keep your skin in good condition. Hands that are too dry develop cracks.
Keep mucus membranes healthy. Too dry up in your nostrils and sinuses, can cause cracks there too.
Use a humidifier, if room is too dry.
Steam your face and sinuses.
{Boil pot of water, hang face over steam after turning pot off.}
* Disinfect the outside of your briefcase, etc?
If you're letting items touch the floor/ground/surface, and you bring that in to your home and set it on top of the table/surfaces even your desk, (and where you you eat), you might be bringing in germs?
Could use those disinfectant wipes on the surfaces of things that have been exposed to the crowds.
{Dollar/thrift/discount-type stores sell small packages with resealable flaps. You can carry them around sealed in ziplock-type bags. They last longer, and stay moist.}
Your watchband? Make sure to sanitize that.
Your cellphone, ipad, laptop? ditto
Of course, handsanitizer while you're out after shaking hands with people.
Your neckties? can collect and carry germs. I don't know if you can lysolspray/mist them a bit, without ruining the fabric?
If you wear eyeglasses? .. be sure to wash those off-- rims and glass.
Your hair?? --
.. okay, I'm going bonkers!..???? haha
Not really.
I had been pretty healthy one winter.
Then, someone sitting on the bus directly behind me did a huge 'sneeze'. Felt the wind of it on the back of my head, and I stroked the back of my hair right afterwards? Mistake... I came down with an awful cold/flu after that.
So... If someone sick sneezes on your hair?, don't touch your hair with bare hands (inadvertently touching your face, etc). Maybe make sure you wash your hair that night? (instead of morning, if you are a morning-shower person)
If you were wearing a hat during germ-season? ..
spray the hat with lysolspray when you get home.
So... PREVENTION.
Anything you bring INTO your home, if you can kind of keep them sprayed or sanitized, it can reduce the load of germs you're exposed to. Gives the immune system less to have to handle.
.. Don't forget to sanitize your doorknob, light switches, knobs on drawers in your kitchen.. Your TV remote, your mouse/keyboards, etc.
Your KEYS? .. Wash those, OR use alcohol on them?
The outside of your wallet?.. give it a wipe.
The OTHER IMPORTANT things?
Get proper REST for your body!!
Get the best sleep you can at night.
RESTING helps boost your immune system by letting it do its own work.
If you are not feeling well, and come down with a cold-- it's really better that you self-care (if you can arrange it) rather than power-on through your day. A stitch in time, saves nine!
Soup, and allow Rest for your body, AND the mind!!
Taking the afternoon OFF, and, nap and rest and souping, can QUICKEN healing time-- makes you more productive.
PLUS... taking rest time away from other humans during the heaviest attack of the cold helps OTHERS not catch and keep passing germs (but, you already know that.. *heart*).
Make HOME-MADE soups.
Can always make a big batch, then freeze portions in sturdy round quart-containers {ziplockMakes some *thumbsup*}, that can be reused over and over again.
Home made soup {without those extra chemical additives} is sooo healthy.
* STRESS …
Stress, sustained nasty stress --
is terrible on the body.
Make sure you have a practice or engage in doses of positive thinking, possibility thinking, to counteract that mental {and emotional} stress.
Stress, too much stress, dirties your aura.
Dirty auras can attract things that cling to it, like colds.
REST.. Positive doses of thoughts.. allows the aura to refresh its energies.
Gentleness...

* Massage
If you can afford it, see a foot-reflexologist. Amazing connections. Can help free-up parts of your body-- like congestion. Especially since you're having challenges.
Stay Well
