I've been continuing with my solar plexus yoga. I did a Kundalini style yoga. I did weird breathing and chanting. Why not?

I am starting to work with my clove essential oil. My fiance made candles. He asked me what essential oil to put in, I told him clove. He also put in a blue crayon. I did not not think the colors went together, but open minded. Like blue being the color of the throat chakra, this website says that cloves are good for the throat chakra. http://rebekahgambleholisticpractitioner.com/2016/07/21/essential-oils-for-the-chakras/

plus my kitchen soap right now is orange and clove.

Nice link! I just bought some cypress oil (because they were out of both sandalwood and cedar) — and got gifted some lavender. The combination I’ve been using lately is orange, jasmine and sage. I’m going to try leaving out the orange and adding cypress, since those 3 are all listed for crown chakra and the cypress by itself is a little much.

Hi Stawr,

I really, really, really recommend not trying to actively stimulate kundalini. The problem is, if a person stimulates it before their time--if they have any blocks at any of the Centers (very common for people to have blocks in the 4th Center), the kundalini will over stimulate the slower vibratory centers.

This can have detrimental effects in various different ways. Basically it can make an otherwise decent person more narcissistic and destructive in nature. Often there is an increase in ego and selfishness, increase in desire for control, decrease in empathy, hyper sexual nature, etc, etc

You're welcome Stawr. If one does regular meditation along with positive service to others (since you're a teacher that very much most likely applies to you), it may eventually awaken on its own when you're ready. Or, you might get a guidance message via dream, synchronicity, etc, nudging you to stimulate it.

As far as I can tell, what kundalini really is, is part of the body electricity, which seems to be most focused/strongest in the spinal fluid because the spinal fluid is very conductive (in a sense, made for electricity). It's an energetic, bodily reflection of the life force in also a consciousness sense.

I have a theory that Pluto is the symbol most associated with it. Both being this sort of raw, powerful, unorganized consciousness/force that can used for either weal or woe. It would be interesting to test this theory by finding a bunch of people who claim to have had kundalini awakenings and seeing if perhaps Pluto plays a strong part in transits during these times.

It turns out that cypress oil has no business anywhere near my crown chakra! I’ve tried it twice in different combinations on non-consecutive days, and both times I’ve started out loving it but ended the day with my head aching and tingling like I’ve had my hair pulled back in a tight bun.

Thank you,
I’ve been focusing a lot on this chakra because I am always bloated, even when I am skinny. I first became aware of kundalini as a meditation technique. But meditation and yoga seem to be very connected.
Right now Pluto is squaring my sun and conjuncting my Saturn.

I have been adding more yellow into the condo! I love it!

Yellow dinning room table cloth with lemon place mats, and a bowl of lemons as a center piece. Fruit makes great home décor when the fridge is way to full.

I do yoga here and there, boat poses are a little more barrable.

I notice fiancé is getting more into wearing blue. Lighter blue a color he's insisted on having an aversion too. Anytime he is not wearing grey I drop my jaw a little. It makes sense though because, he is stepping it up with the wedding planning and after moving we have been doing a lot of out with the old in with the new on the home front.

Blue chakra is good for communicating, staying calm and cool, and getting organized.

My sweety has been super motivated and a great team player on the home front. His mom got us a robot vacuum as a wedding gift and he is obsessed! I joke with him that I am going to take a picture of the vacuum and put it in a picture frame before he goes back to work.

He has been wearing more blue and green lately.

My mom has an aversion to the color red.
One time I was helping her make the table for dads birthday....I picked the red table cloth, and figure its an acceptable Fall color...and my mom takes it off the table and replaces it with a pink butterfly table cloth! I was like "Why?" and then she told me she doesn't like red. LOL

It makes sense since its the root chakra. My mom typically doesn't like crude talk, or dirty humor. And she gets offended when women have showy cleavage. But it's kind of hilarious when she reacts.
