POLO!JUNI so glad you're better. I'm not posting as often as i'd like but i'm always around, can't get away from you guys too many classes and assignments not to mention my full time job it's just too hectic! but yeah can't complain Beirut is doing okay i guess standing strong among all the regional and local upheavel.. soon it will be jasmine season and what's that flower i love so much, dunno what it's called in english it has a green stem and small white lily like buds cover it, it has a beautiful subtle scent.. hoping you guys would visit Beirut someday IP: Logged |

It is good to be busy and active! I`m bogged down with too much snow and rather envy the warmer climes...especially where Jasmine grows freely and abundantly. It is a tender annual here and I grow it as a house plant. It only blooms once a year in late spring. When it does, nothing rivals jasmine for her beauty and fragrance. ------------------

looks like Gardenia they have a great strong scent..
the flower i was talking about we call "mantoor" i found a photo of it:
i only like the white ones, their smell is more subtle than that of Gardenia or Yasmeen but it's beautiful... what do you guys call it?

The flower I posted is the double petaled Jasmine vine.The Mantoor looks like Gladiolas or mini Hollyhocks. What ever they are, they are beautiful and I can almost smell em  (I`m trying to find out what we call them) ------------------
