Mayan calender shows approx 26000 yrs cycle.

Which is simillar to the 26,000 yrs cycle of

Astrological ages.This cycle ends on 21st

december 2012, Why we should not take this as

the begining of aquarian age ? Can anybody

explain please.

Dolphin, I can`t explain but my best answer is the Age of Aquarius is in the hearts of the individual human. It begins with each soul taking responsibility for themselves and others to make this monumentous step into the Aquarian Age.
