what kills me is how conservative media is all fear and propaganda and lots of people buy into it.. they don't put 2 and 2 together that the people trying to spread fear are usually the bad guys . i.e Hitler and the Nazis

Isn't the liberal media all about fear? What about global warming?

Actually, quite a few people believe it's a non-issue and that liberals use it to extort money from the unsuspecting sheep. I'm of the opinion that it isn't real at all.

Why is it real? Because people told you it was? If it were true, the computer models would have not failed. All of the predictions failed to manifest.

I believe in Global Warming, but it's beside the point.

Do we really need a reason,
or a friggin' computer program,
to tell us not to **** where we eat?

Common sense should do the trick.

steven

the fact that human/computer projections didn't pan out doesn't mean there isn't a problem, it just means the PROGRAM was wrong.

last i checked the earth doesn't listen to or depend on our projections to do her thing. nor do bad computer programs make the contamination of our waterways, air and earth vanish.

It means the hypothesis was and is wrong. CO2 has continued to rise and rise, but temperatures have not kept up with the projections--not even close; hence, CO2 does not affect temperature. Furthermore, CO2 is not a pollutant, as power-hungry Gore would have you to believe. The more CO2 we have, the more lush and green this Planet will be. You would think the so-called "Green" Movement would get that by now. But the major players in the Green Movement only see the other type of green.

I believe in clean air and clean water. It makes sense. Controlling people through fear of a warming disaster does not.

All signs have a dark side. To me, when I think of the Age of Aquarius I sometimes think of this (as Aquarius rules electricity, ingenious advances & dependence on technology and computers mixed with radical innovation and rebelliousness making me think cyberpunk):

Just sharing more for fun. Perhaps I'm in an Uranian mood.

Certainly we are having a climate change. That`s obvious. The $64 question is why. I suspect it is a combo of man made cause and effect with normal patterns of climate disruptions .

Why it is this huge chest beating issue is beyond me

And what we want is a lush Planet, so CO2 would be a good thing (feeds plant life).
