I dated my ex pre, during, and post his law degree. It was amazing to see the change in or conversations after just the first year, lol. It's definitely a "rewiring" taking place, but I suppose it's quite necessary. The odd thing is that I noticed some very interesting interpretations of what it means to "think like a lawyer" accompanying that rewire (at least that's what I experienced with him and his friends). I hope your experience is as positive as it can be Randall! I'm sure it'll be an interesting journey either way  Oh man those were crazy days.IP: Logged |

The plan is still currently in development, lol, but the goal is to improve the world as much as I can through compassion and providing practical support to those in need. I'm really touched by the current refugee crisis. I'd like to be involved in some kind of program development to help educate young refugees whose schooling was interrupted (or possibly not even begun) due to the current state of things. I'd also like to help older refugees develop or update their skills so that they have a better chance of assimilating and thriving in the communities they find themselves in. Most importantly though, my hope is to somehow find a way to help refugees cope with such trauma and hopefully instill within those who've lost it a sense of personal power and faith in the greater good - I want to show people that these are the "moments" that matter. That, as part of the family of man, we can help ease the pain and burden of those who have lost everything.IP: Logged |
